Description:

We’re much more than just a food tour – we’re a Vietnamese Food Expo...

We’re much more than just a food tour – we’re a Vietnamese Food Expo providing an entertaining opportunity to experience and learn about Vietnamese culture through its unique cuisine.

We start with the experience of the bustling local Hoi An market where we meet local vendors and taste some selected foods. We then walk a short distance to our comfortable tasting room for the tasting presentation of a wide selection of delicacies bought directly from local vendors - some of whom we saw or met in the marketplace.

Our package includes:

. Pick-up from local Hoi An hotels.

. Guided walking tour of markets, food producers and vendors

. Full commentary with English speaking hosts

. More than 30 different food and beverage tastings

. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks

. Hygienic and safe food handling

. Comfortable tasting venue

. Printed list of foods offered

. Great photo opportunities

. Food and restaurant recommendations - and more

A cultural and food tasting walk, try at least 40 dishes, walk the markets to see where the locals purchase their fresh food, Ms Sen will lead you through the streets for an hour or two and then Neville and Colleen (Australians) will treat you to a "how to make the most of Hoi An" honestly you're best to do... Neville is a big Aussie bloke that came to Vietnam on business, fell in love with it, and told his wife they were moving to Vietnam. He was hugely informative and passionate about describing the virtues/wisdom of Vietnamese food. The tour started in the market, everything was so fresh – especially the meat and seafood. The day started off with... More

Followed a recommendation from some fellow travelers and was delighted with the entire experience. As someone new the Vietnam, the tour found the perfect balance between tasting street food and learning about the Vietnamese cuisine more broadly. Neville was a wonderful host, very friendly and his recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Ms Sen, our guide for the street food... More

After being recommended to do Neville's food tour by both my parents as well as my sister and her fiancée my friend and I did this tour this morning and had such a great time! The tour starts off at the market where Ms Sen/team walked us around and we tried a variety of local foods. The tour then goes... More

The morning tour starts with a tour of the local market, and then the eating starts, all of it is very tasty and authentic, even down to the tiny ice creams sold in the street to children on their way to school. The tour ends with more food in a lovely old Hoi An restaurant, the tour leaders are well... More

I'm gong to repeat what everyone else has said--please do this trip the morning you arrive in Hoi An! You learn so much and get great recommendations that you'll use the rest of your trip! I didn't arrive at my hotel until 3:40am because of a flight delay and had to be ready for a 7:05am pick up and it... More

A good tour - not sure if it's worth all the rave reviews (and the price charged) considering you spend half your time in a room at the back of a restaurant rather than out on the street. I've done a few street food tours in Vietnam and this would be my least favourite.

Dear Sally Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you were unsatisfied, with the time the tour spends sampling street food prepared by one of our best local chefs in the famous restaurant. We usually find guests very much enjoy the opportunity to be In this comfortable environment with a quality food offering than spending the whole... More

delicious, wonderful, fun, frivolous a MUST DO at the beginning of your stay in Hoi An. Neville and the crew will orient you to the places, food and stories of Hoi An that give you a quick short cut and a 'way in' a little deeper than wandering about on your own (which, of course, you'll do AFTER the tour)... My brother and I competed this tour on our first morning in Hoi An & it was the best decisions we made! The tour was great & we tried so much lovely food with Sen & Neville. We were able to purchase some amazing chilli sauce & other items with profits going towards a charity for Agent Orange victims. A... More

This was a highlight of our time in Hoi An. We were lucky to do it on our first full day, since we discovered new foods that we liked and received so many recommendations from Neville on places to eat, shop, etc. that the rest of our days in Hoi An were jam-packed. The tour is so informative, it's a... More
