What a brilliant way to get to learn about Vietnamese food and how to cook some delicious dishes. Van our host could not have looked after us any better. She took us to the markets to purchase the fresh food needed to cook our 11 dishes, 11 in our group, all great people from Australia and Canada. Van talked about... More

This is the first time either of us have been on a cooking class home or abroad but thought it would be interesting as we both like to cook and love Asian food. Some other reviews have criticised the structure of Van (the owner)'s day but, for us, it was excellent. Yes, there were 11 of us and between us... More

We are so glad that we went to this cooking school. We now feel very confident making some authentic Vietnamese dishes. Van, the owner, takes you through food markets for your fresh ingredients and then it's back to her house to start cooking. Everything is explained in detail and the whole process is made fun and thoroughly enjoyable. Skip breakfast... More

A great way to really learn what the vietnamese kitchen is all about. Friendly staff and a clean kitchen, combined with a list with a huge variety of different vietnamese dishes makes this a "must do" in Hoi An. Van, which runs the thing, can meet you and your group at your hotel. You then walk through the local market... More

It was a privilege to attend Van's cooking school...well organised, informative, interesting, great company, delicious food. Will definitely book again on our next visit to Hoi An. Many thanks to the lovely Van and her very efficient kitchen helpers.

Booked this before leaving the UK based on trip advisor recommendations. Early morning start round the local market, Van the owner was an excellent guide explaining what all the veggies and herbs were as we brought the ingredients to cook our dishes. The class consisted of 10 people all of whom had pre chosen what they wished to cook. We... More

Tried to book into a class when here last year, but all full. We were lucky to get an evening class. No trip to the market ( but have been before with another cooking school, so not worried) The class run by Van has tobe the best cooking class I have ever been to. Van is very calm, funny, patient... This was such a pleasant surprise. Our group of 6 were taken to her home and immediatly you get the sense of home cooking. There is not a bad item to chose from except making the choices. It gets difficult to make up your mind on what to make. We truly enjoyed the food experience and have since came home... More

Picked up by Van and her driver and off to the markets to start the adventure. Sights sounds tastes and smells wow. Back to. Vans home where we unloaded the baskets to start our carving chopping cooking and tasting our chosen creations.Van has an amazing calming teaching style and we all learnt so much about ingredients and techniques. Had a wonderful day with Vin and co. The market tour was so interesting followed by a master chef lesson. 12 people cooked 12 amazing dishes.
