This 2.5 hour class was great. No half day drawn out course. Just a compact course full of detail and liveried well by the instructor. We only had the two of us on the course so was very personalised. Good food.

We did the 2.5hr class with the market trip. Decided to book our class after reading good reviews. We wondered down to the cooking class venue the day before and it was very easy to organise. You will need to pay deposit which is usually have the price The market visit was extremely hot but very informative. We got to... More

We took this class in the middle of July. We set up the class on the Gioan's website. The website forces you to pick a menu to complete the entry. We selected menu 2 which included Beef Pho, Chili & lemon grass chicken, country pancake and fresh spring rolls. I sure we could have selected a different menu other the... More

This cooking class was more than we had wished for. It started out with 30 minutes in the Hoi An market to pick out the fruit and vegetables followed by a 2:30 class with an adorable and dynamic teacher. Everything we cooked was delicious (I highly recommend to choose a menu) and we got to eat inside. I recommend this... More

Food was so good, best springrolls and pho we had in our whole stay in Vietnam and fish in banana leaf was also delicious. Learned a lot of great cooking-tricks to take home. You cook, and eat, cook and eat, very informal, we did menu one, with three dishes. We booked one day in advance, and a very decent price... More

What an experience. We booked in and chose our menu. We had 3 other people join us. For our menu we chose, Pork in Claypot, Fish in Banana leaf, Steamed spring rolls and Vietnamese Pancake. We had been trying to make these at home for the past year but couldn't get the hang to it. So we decided we would... More

Thoroughly enjoyable time, we walked around Hoi An looking for a great class where we'd get a personal experience and learn real skills, we got this here. The lady was so personable and friendly, she genuinely wanted people to learn and she was a good, fun teacher. We'd highly recommend this, made all the better that it wasn't as commercialised... We chose this cooking class after reading the reviews despite The Red Bridge being recommended from a friend. Bad decision! The teacher was 15 mins late leaving us with a blank faced, unfriendly staff member. We paid for a two hour class which only lasted 1 hour 15 mins including eating our meal. It was comparatively expensive compared to other... More

I went to this place for a cooking class as I had read the great reviews on the internet. I went to the place to ask about cooking classes, I was told that they had some booked that day so I could join in, great. However I realised once I started the class that basically they do private classes and... More
