This was the total experience. We got to go to the market, take a boat to a little island, and then cook traditional and delicious Vietnamese food. The cooking experience was cook-by-number which I liked since it made it impossible to mess up but we still got the feel of ocoking.

Our teacher was very good, and I loved the dishes that we made. The area was really beautiful, and it was a very memorable activity. I took a cooking class in Thailand, but I feel I will remember how to actually make these dishes much better.

Starts off with a cruise around the local produce marker by foot. You are told about each ingredient and meat you going to use. The meat house is particularly interesting, every part of the animal on a bench. You then take your findings on a small boat over to the island you will be cooking. The cooking building is nice... We did their cooking class last week and from the time we were picked up from our hotel until we were dropped off, it was a fun experience. We enjoyed the walk around the markets and being taught things along the way. The boat rides (larger boat then transferred to two small boats for the ride through the coconut palms)... More

Everything about this attraction went like clockwork, the market visit was fascinating, all the produce was incredibly fresh. The boat trip was really nice and relaxing, even the transfer from the `big` boat to the little boat and the short trip through the water coconuts was an experience. The cooking location was very, very clean and the instruction was clear... More

We booked this class because it was the top rated on Trip Advisor and recommended by our hotel. It was a great decision. The day started with a market tour where we actually bought the ingredients we later used to cook with - a number of other classes I have been on only show you around the market but have... More

The course started by visiting the busy and energetic local market to source our ingredients in the morning, Our teacher Mo brought us through all the herbs, vets and meats and explained how to best pick and why, then we were brought by boat to the island, which was an experience it's self and defy like we were the only... A very interesting part of Vietnam. Wonderful old buildings and great value for money shopping. Many opportunities for photography. Motor bikes a pain.

We seen this was no.1 thing to do in Hoi An so emailed and booked it straight away. Mo met us at the hotel and took us straight to the market. It was a great experience. Mo happily answered any questions and gave us info on the different types of food available. We then got on a boat to a... More

We did a morning cooking class. The trip to the markets to get ingredients was an eye opening experience. The boat ride along the river and through the coconut palm village was an interesting experience. The cooking class was informative and the food was incredibly tasty yet the ingredients and techniques were very simply. Best value for money experience I've... More
