we were picked up at our hotel and then off to the market to buy the things we would need for the dishes we would be making. Then we were off for a boat ride to the island. Next, we visited a place that makes rice milk and learned the process. Finally, we arrived at the cooking school. ,it is... More

Booked this in over the web, was a very simple process. We were picked up at our hotel in a cab and taken to the market where we met with our fellow trippers. Nga showed us round the market where we bought our food and everyone ended up with some ingredients in their slightly camp handbags. Then we got on... More

Great cooking experience - worth every penny - super value! Class size was set at 8 people so individual attention was given to every participant. Started by being picked up by our guide/instructor Mo (lovely young lady and part owner) at our hotel. Off to the local market to buy the food to be used - Mo explained in detail... More

Did this with our two sons, 11 and 8 and had a fantasticieninf starting with a trip around the market to buy food. Nga, our guide, and the chef explained a lot of the ingredients and different herbs we would use. Then a boat trip out to the island to cook 4 dishes. Nga was really helpful with my youngest... We booked the Thuan Tinh Island Cooking Tour having read so many great reviews about it. Honestly, it is the best cooking tour in Hoi An! It's not just a class on cooking, it is a whole experience. At $32 USD per person, it's great value for a half day experience that fills your tummy. You can book easily via... More

This is a really fun and well organized cooking school! Starts with a great visit to the local market, a ice boat trip on the river and a very well run cooking class in a great location! Definitely recommended for beginner to intermediate cooks!

With the market shop to start and then the boat ride to the location, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Learning how to cook up to 4 different types of Vietnamese meals was lovely, in a great location and entertaining Grandma teacher! Well worth the money it cost. If you've already got some skills at cooking, especially Chinese or Vietnamese, it... More

We had a great half day on the cooking course. Maybe a little pricey at 670,000 dong, but the guide and chef are great and the food top notch for that price. You start with pick up at your hotel at 8.30,then head to the market where the guide shows you the different food stalls and how to choose the... More

Nothing flawed about these guys. Everything was super well organized and a lot of fun. It was one of our favourite activities in Hoi Ann. If you are spending a few days in the area this is a worthwhile activity to sign up for. We love Vietnamese food and it was fantastic to learn tips and tricks of dishes we... More
