Fascinating to see the villagers growing organic herbs and vegetables with only river weed as fertiliser & ladies with two enormous watering cans as the only irrigation. Beautifully laid out parterre style gardens. Recently opened Waterwheel cooking school/restaurant served a very refreshing drink made with basil seeds and ginger - quite delicious.

Walking through row upon row of immaculate gardens was great.You can smell the the herbs and veges as you walk.
