We dropped into Vy's on the basis of a book review and were not disappointed. We had Hoi An pan cakes, Stingray and a Morning Glory salad. Staff attentive and guided us through how to eat the various dishes. We enjoyed watching the dishes come to life in front of us. A little pricier than some but overall very happy.

The walk through the market was great to experience how the locals shop! The expiration of the ingredients was great, gave us a real understand of what we are eating and how it can help the body! The wired and wonderful food was great - frogs, snails, brain and duck embryo... These were all your choice to try, but a... More

I signed up to this Street food tour thinking that it was a cooking class but it's actually a food experience which involves learning about and tasting a huge variety of Vietnamese foods. You get to eat/taste heaps of food, including "freaky" things if you want to. At the end of the tour you participate in putting together a few... More

I highly recommend Vy's cooking class. The tour of yhe food stations is reallt informative and you get to sample and even try makinf some of the components. The actual cooking class is brilliant. There were 5 of us. My Wife ans i and 3 daughters. Oldest 15, youngest 7 and all had our own cooking station. Really enjoyed eating... More

I took the "Taste Vietnam Street Food Tour". It cost $25 USD. The online description of the course made it seem like the food tour involved us being able to cook ourselves. However, the tour only involved demonstrations of cooking and tasting foods at the cooking school. We did briefly roll a spring-roll and fry a pancake, but that was... More

You can see how the food is made in this restaurant come cooking school. Sure the food is more expensive than the local one next door, but you can see your meal being made and check out the various range of dishes before you order. We all found the dishes to be of a high quality and tasty. Would eat... More

I highly recommend Vy's cooking class. They take you through a detailed tour through the food markets and let you try many vietnese speciality cuisines. Then individually prepare your own. It was a great experience.

Loved walking around the first floor watching all the different cooks preparing Vietnamese dishes. Then off to the second floor "cooking school" to learn how to make spring rolls, green mango salad, BanhXeo "pancakes", BBQ chicken skewers. What fun!

While in Hoi An, we had the opportunity to take a cooking class at Ms. Vy's. Our morning started with a boat ride to the market where we were shown local ingredients and where we got a glimpse into how the locals shop for meat, fish and produce. When we returned for the class, it was organized and wildly wonderful... More

We did the Holiday MasterClass. Very professional cooking school. Went to the markets to learn about herbs, vegetables, meat, seafood, fruit, rice noodles etc! So much fresh produce. Then back to the cooking school to see some of the techniques used to make different dishes, and try some more unusual dishes..... Then to us having a go at making cabbage... More
