A very enjoyable 5-hour class. A few of us joined the holiday cooking class. The trip started with a boat tour and market visit. An interesting experience to learn more about all the local cooking ingredients / herbs, it followed by a food tasting walk back in the cooking school, we tried many different dishes, lots of good food, its... We wanted to have a cooking experience whilst in Vietnam, but weren't keen to spend all day going to a market, etc. and just wanted to spend a couple of hours learning about Vietnamese food and cooking. Vy's was perfect for this. With a tour of all the local food on offer, and opportunities to try everything the cooking class... More

I booked this last minute and it was so enjoyable! The visit to the market is great with a guide (as they break you up into smaller groups). We had Na she was a lovely girl. I loved how they let u get hands on and show you how all these different dishes/dish elemenrs are made. The actual cooking part... More

I visited the Morning Glory cooking school in 2012 and really enjoyed it. I was eager to have my traveling companion have a similar experience. The school has changed names and locations, but still was a great experience. We signed up go the 2 hour class which is a terrific to Vietnamese food from the food for working people to... More

We booked onto the cookery school after enjoying a delicious lunch at The Market. For a very reasonable $25 each we were taken around the entire restaurant in a group of just four people. We seemed to try a sample of practically everything in the restaurant, from bahn mi to the less appetising hột vịt lộn (fertilized duck egg!) and... More

The whole experience was very good. It started with a guided tour at the market, done by a very sweet and helpful tourguide. Then, we sampled a variety of Ms Vy's street food stalls, and finally it was all topped up by a class by Ms Vy herself. All of the dishes she thought us were very tasty and we... More

To say we were disappointed is an understatement. On March 27th I booked the Holiday Masterclass to be held on May 6th, our money was taken and our class confirmed. The evening before we were actually eating in the Morning Glory overflow restaurant area which is also the cooking class registration area. Making use of the free wifi I checked... More

Went to the Taste of Vietnam today and it was fabulous! The host was lovely and very friendly. For VDN 535 000 there was so many good dishes to taste! I would list them all, but alas I don't know all the correct terms (more tastings than listed on the wed site). Plus we got involved in the making of... More

The place was very' clean and friendly! We were three 20 year old girls and we had a blast! The class was only two hours and that was perfect, not to long and not too short. DON'T EAT BEFORE YOU GO THERE because you eat soooo much! They explain you how they make typical vietnamese food and you taste a... More

We had supper there one night and really enjoyed the meal. The variety of choices made deciding what to eat difficult. You could order of the menu or do it buffet style. We signed up for the cooking school "A Taste Of Vietnam" before we left. The school started with a tour and taste of the things that they feature.... More
