We did the masterclass on our honeymoon and would certainly recommend it. Everyone seemed to enjoy the all you can eat breakfast but unfortunately our tour guide failed to mention it and so we turned up already fed! The trip to the market was both fun and informative - our assistant from the school had a great sense of humour... More

This is the second time I have done the masterclass at Ms Vy's cooking school. I initially was a little disappointed that I could not do the Gourmet class with Ms Vy as there were not enough people to run it. I was quietly surprised that doing the master class again was fine. It is slightly different to the one... More

It was recommended that we eat at this restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint. We enjoyed a fabulous late lunch and it would be worth a visit for anyone!

My husband and I did the Master Class as part of our silver wedding anniversary celebrations, something fun to do together. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. At breakfast we tried some 'weird and wonderful' dishes that in every day life I wouldn't even think about. Silk worms? I won't say what else, it will be a surprise for you! After... More

I ate a full meal at the hotel before the early 7:45am start so thought I would just watch everyone during the first breakfast bit (wasn't sure my western stomach could handle Asian spices first thing in the morning), however I was quickly drawn in for a second breakfast because everything was so different and so good. Second phase of... More

My wife and I and our 2 adult daughters went along for the Masterclass cooking class. One of our daughters is a vegetarian which raised a few challenges for the organisers but they provided nice alternatives and the day was a great success. We started with a lovely breakfast at the Market Restaurant sampling all sorts of typical Vietnamese breakfast... More

I was recommended this course by two separate people who completely sung its praises. I wasn't expecting huge amounts as the master class we chose cost just $32 - how much would that get you as a class back in the UK? However, we were bowled over by what we experienced. We arrived early and had a gorgeous breakfast, picking... More

You start the day with a Vietnamese breakfast. There are like over 20 items to choose from. Since it is buffet style you can each as much as you want. After breakfast you take a quick boat ride to the market. Here you see, smell, and taste a lot of the ingredients used in Vietnamese dishes. The market is super... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Sister restaurant to The Market and the same great food and service but with a different feel. Always busy and friendly vibe and plenty of other travellers to chat with while enjoying great food.

I had the breakfast-market-cooking class option and absolutely enjoyed everything! The breakfast was so yummy I was really bummed that I was full. It was nice to stroll around at the local market and learn about the local food. Back at the restaurant we got to taste some special local dishes and try to do some of the local kind... More
