Great way to spend a day. From morning market to eating the food you've learned to make -- every minute was enjoyable. I learned a lot too. HIGHLY recommend.

This class was professional and well organised from beginning to end. We travelled by boat to the central market to learn about ingredients typically used in Vietnamese cooking and the various medicinal properties peculiar to those ingredients - really interesting. Back in the boat, we travelled back to 'The Market' restaurant and cooking school, where we continued our education by... More

Hi, I have just completed the Holiday Masterclass at Ms Vy's Morning Glory Cooking School. It was sensational and I am so happy I did it. B15 minute boat trip to the market where we spent 1 hour taking in the sights and sounds (as well as some interesting smells) before we returned to the school. A LOT of money... More

We started with a tour of the Market restaurant where we saw how rice paper is made, as well as different kinds of noodles and other dishes. We then went to the central market by boat, where our guide gave us all kinds of explanations about the different meats, seafood and vegetables used in Vietnamese cooking - even specific utensils.... Authentic, friendly service. Great food. There's a market restaurant across the river that is equally good but has a different atmosphere, and which we also liked.

All planned very well - we took a boat to the market where our guide explained where different kinds of foods came from, what they were used for, how they were cooked and what health benefits they had. Once back to the school we walked around the different stations sampling all kinds of wierd and wonderful things- fantastic!! Then off... More

I did 4 cooking classes in Vietnam and this was my least favorite. The class was huge and the chef stands out the front and demonstrates a dish and then you do it with very little assistance and you have to remember all the steps yourself. Little interaction with the chef as she just walks around the room. The dishes... More

We spent three fantastic days in beautiful in Hoi An; a cooking class is an absolute must do activity. The course lasts around 4 hours and was the perfect activity for a rainy day in December. The course at Morning Glory is professionally organised and includes a morning trip to the amazing food markets in Hoi An. The markets bustle... More

We did the bicycle tour and coking class. Was fantastic to ride through the city into the country and see how the bean sprouts and other fresh produce are grown and harvested. We then took a tour to see the markets. From there we went back to the school to learn how to make 4 dishes. The tour guide was... More
