I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Morning Glory/The Market Vietnamese cooking school! We had the two most delightful hosts - Cherry was our guide at the beginning of the day and she took us around to see the market on a boat trip and to explain to us everything that we would be eating and preparing. We... More

Went to this restaurant from recommendation from Trip Advisor and was certainly not disappointed. Excellent food, great service and ambience. Booking is definitely required and as with most Vietamese restuarants food is served early rather than late in the evening. Great value for money.........very reasonable

Did a cooking class with an Intrepid food tour of Vietnam. Very impressed with this organization. I loved being shown how noodles and rice paper are made. And the array of foods to try is great. The class was excellent... Got to make a number of things that will be easy enough to replicate at home. I highly recommend doing... More

For the final day of our stay in Hoi An, my boyfriend and I booked a class at the Morning Glory Cooking School. Perhaps it was the agent who booked for us, but we arrived at Morning Glory to find that the class was actually on the other side of the river at The Market restaurant. Both are owned by... More

I thought the master class was slightly pricy but went for it anyway. It was totally worth it! First, an all-you-can eat breakfast of unbelievable variety. The a guided tour of the market, followed by a tasting session at the street food restaurant before the hands-on cooking class where you learn to make four tasty dishes. I'll definitely be trying... Just go there. Authentic, friendly service. Great food. We went three times to ensure we could trying everything we couldn't try during the previous visits. Kids loved it too. There's a market restaurant across the river that is equally good but has a different atmosphere, and which we also liked.

We did the bicycle/ cooking class and had a great day cycling through the street, rice fields, locals houses and villages herb gardens. After which we put all our recently acquired knowledge into action in the kitchen. Being a chef this was very informative, produce was fresh and the the flavours were great. All in all a great day was... More

Master class included a delicious breakfast, a tour of the markets where the guide talked about the markets, the different produce and where it comes from. Really interesting and informative. Got to see different processes and how they prepare the food. Then finally cook ourselves. It wasn't an extremely hands on cooking class as much was pre-prepared for you, however... More
