We had a very fun day with Cham Island diving. Relaxing with some free coffee and fruit on the top deck of the boat on the way to the diving sight, we set off the day quite well! Our instructor Calvin was very nice and helpful. Visibility might not have been the best ever, but still good enough to see... More

Completed my Open Water Scuba Course with Cham Island Dive in Hoi An. A professional instruction delivered but very friendly but and relaxed. Attention to safety was excellent. On board the dive boat was well set up and all the equipment was in excellent condition. The dive sites picked were always the best for the days conditions and always in... More

Everything went clock work with this company. Easy and fast pick up/drop off at hotel. Very funny and supportive English-speaking Italian Guide Ivan. He explained every details of snorkeling. Each group was escorted and under supervision of one instructor. They made sure everything was going right with you and we happily chatted about his country Italy and his family here... More

I wanted to do some diving in Vietnam and my choice was with Cham Island Diving. The service is excellent, they pick you up at your hostel transport you to the dive boat. Equipment is sorted out on the boat, and briefings given, and we had a good instructor taking us. We were a bit unlucky with the dive sites,... More

I had very low expectations about the quality of the diving. Just saw this as a day trip to a nice beach and an opportunity to get in the water. The number of divers was too high and their level of experience was on the low side. Groups didn't seem to be paired properly, so I was with a couple... More

Hi, and thanks for your comment.. This person did a booking through the hotel, he didn't come to book directly to us. At our office is clearly displayed the visibility of the day before and we give to all divers always info about visibility and water temperature before they do a booking. Then they can decide. We also ask about... More

Had a great day diving with the cham island dive team, saw some nice fish jacks, red bass and spangled emperor as well as usual clown fish etc. Gears in good condition maybe just a couple more womens scuba suits without tears. But they gave us two suits so not cold at all. Best part was they hooked us up with... More

I really enjoyed this experience. As I'm a beginner, of course I was a little bit scary but also excited from diving. The french instructor took the time to explain how to dive, and really insist on the key safe points. It was really clear, and help me to feel better. I dived twice, and each diving last 45 mn.... After a morning with two dives you get to have a pretty good luch at the beach's restaurant and chill for a bit before heading back. We chose to do a homestay at the small fishing port in the island and it was fantastic. The house is basically a small guesthouse with very nice rooms and the food Lin cooked... More

The French diving instructor was a complete joke. He didn't explain any of the key diving drills in enough depth before entering into the water. He then preceded to get very angry with members of the group which is not appropriate or professional. This led to a bad experience.

Dear readers, I am the joke instructor. I reckon having chattered 2 divers last week and apologise for it. I have been introducing scuba diving to almost 10000 people in my career, if most of them enjoy right away, some, who are afraid of water, end up panicking and put their own life in danger like spitting their regulator in... We had a great day out visiting Cham Island from Hoi An. The receptionist at Hoi An Trails Resort booked this for us, 880,000 VND included transfers, speedboat, snokeling, lunch and returns. Recommend you bring your own snorkel mouth piece, but goggles are fine to borrow. We had time to relax on the beach after lunch.
