My friends and I loved our excursion to the cooking school. Each part of the day was so enjoyable - market tour, boat ride, herb garden, cooking and finally eating. I would highly recommend this class as it was fun and delicious. The food was outstanding as well!

After meeting in a cafe the group walked around the main market in Hoi An with our guide who told us how to pick fresh meat and fish and showed us herbs. Nothing was bought, but there was the opportunity to buy peelers. Then onto the boat for a pleasant ride to the kitchen and restaurant to learn to prepare some... More

For someone who doesn't like to cook at all......I had a great day. We all met up and were taken to the markets and introduced to so many different meats, fish and vegetables I had never even heard of. After a boat ride we arrived at The Red Bridge Cooking School. After a walk around their veggie and herb garden,... More

I would recommend the half day trip. Great visit to the central market with chef Tung explaining the different produce with a cheeky sense of humour! This is followed by a boat trip to the school which is in a beautiful setting. There you are shown how to make 5 vietnamese specialities and even try out a few yourself. Good... More

We had no idea what we were doing when signing up for this class. We both love Vietnamese food and wanted to learn how to cook the basics. The chef and staff was very helpful through out the whole evening and they made sure we had beers in our hand all the time. The class was hands on from the... More

After meeting at a cafe, we were divided into groups to visit the local market. It was very interesting touring the market with a guide - I had not been game to venture inside the meat or fish sections by myself. We then took a boat ride to the cooking school. The chef was very entertaining, and my family and... More

The cooking class began with a visit to the local market, but sadly not to purchase the ingredients we would be cooking with. It was really just a walk through with a stop at a vendor where we could buy peelers, knives and cleavers. Our guide offered very little information and only asked if we had any questions. Then it... Fantastic experience. The walk through the markets in the morning was great, very clean markets, not smelly. The head chef showed us how to select the best produce and explained about local herbs and ingredients. The class was efficient and the food was delicious. We couldn't be happier!

I cant recommend this enough to all those travelling to the area. The staff were great fun, and obviously expert in their fields. We were taken to the main market in Hoi An where we were given a tour of all the main food groups and shown what to chose and how to check for freshness. We were able to... More

The Red Bridge cooking school was one of the best things we did during our two weeks in Vietnam! We started at 13:30 with the trip to the organic village to see the fresh fruits and herbs been grown by the local farmers. Ms Thanh was very knowledgable and friendly. Armed with a shopping list and our guide, we went... More
