A very hot day, but a super experience. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable chefs. Interesting visit to the market garden, a bit of a long pause there, but it was hot. Lovely touches like a clean apron to take away and laminated recipe card. Has a huge pool, a stunning location and endless cold drinks, that were very needed. Probably... More

Spent a fascinating late afternoon/early evening learning about local food & attempting to cook it! We managed to reproduce good copies of the local pancakes and the fresh spring rolls and our aubergine casserole was very tasty, we'll draw a veil over the vegetable carving though, absolutely hilarious! The dinner created by the chefs was delicious and we were able... More

Your visit to Viet Nam would not be complete without doing a cooking class and this one was incredible. A great explanation of the markets and what/why the vietnamese cook what they do. Also fantastic hands on cooking at the school itself and then you eat what you cook. Learn some interesting techniques and bought the knives recommended by the... More

Eally brilliant day out. You vitit the local market for fresh produce. Short boat ride to school. You watch the chef cook and then have to cook the same meal yourself. Very well organised Good fun for all ages.

We did a full day cooking class with Red Bridge and it was a highlight of the trip. First our group of 8 visited the local herb village and then the market to buy supplies. Then a short ride out to the Red Bridge Restaurant, which is absolutely stunning: outdoor kitchen, view of the river and a lovely lap pool.... More

We actually visited Hoi An back in 2012 and took the Red Bridge Cooking class during our visit. I should have reviewed this wonderful tour/establishment at the time and if it had not been for my twin sons and their friends visiting Hoi An in May of this year, my review would still be a "must do". Worth every penny... More

As an experienced "from scratch" home cook, I was concerned that the cooking school adventure might not have much to offer besides slicing and dicing and some nice recipes. While some of that may have been true, I was delighted to try my hand at making rice paper wrappers from scratch and eager to make fresh rice paper part of... More

Great for coeliacs - they will adjust to suit your dietary requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class through the Red Bridge Cooking school. It started with a walk through the Hoi An markets and the chance to buy some of the local spice mixes. We then boarded a boat for a ride downstream to the cooking school. Our instructor... More

We did the full day event and were not disappointed. A group of only 8 which made it pleasant. Starting with a drink at the restaurant we then explored the local farms and mingled with some local farmers. Then off to the market place to gather our produce. Although we had explored the market before, it was great to have... More

I attended a half day cooking class recently and it was simply a blast! It started with a trip to the local market in Hoi An that was informative, photographic and fun. After this we headed out on a short boat ride to the cooking school. The purpose built school/restaurant is set on the edge of a river and the... More
