Our boat trip to Red Bridge was a lovely way to relax before a wonderful lunch. The setting is tranquil and relaxing, and staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was some of the best we've had in DaNang / Hoi An, and excellent value for money. We took our 2.5 year old son and the staff... More

Started with a welcome drink in Hoi An, followed by a walking tour of the local market were our chef explained in detail all the local spices, fruits, vegies and how to use them in Vietnamese cooking. We then boarded a long tail boat for a 30min trip to the Red Bridge cooking school. The staff were very friendly to... More

We had a private half day cooking class for 4 of us. It started at the market where the guide talked us through how to select fresh products from the market. Our guide was great fun and her english was really excellent. Then a boat trip down the river. The chef's english was excellent and she helped make the experience... More

We did an evening cooking class which is only 2 hours. We were fortunate to be the only two people there that evening so we had the chef to ourselves. It was a great night, lots of fun. Our chef was Tre and was wonderful as we're the rest of the staff. Great sense of humours and the evening was... More

Had a great experience, walked through the fresh market and then boat trip to Red Bridge Cooking School. We prepared, cooked, laughed and then ate a wonderful lunch. What more more could you want. Staff excellent, smiles all around. Must have been hard to keep smiling with some of the amateurs they were assisting. Thoroughly recommend.

My husband & I did the Deluxe full day cooking class with Red Bridge Restaurant when in Hoi An in August 2014. This was one of the most enjoyable days that we had in all of our Vietnam trip. The day started by meeting in a cafe in the old town. We were given a cold drink of our choice... More

We were a bit cautious about booking this cooking school as it was through the hotel rather than from recommendation. But it was first class, and we'd go back any time. Our guide Chin gave us a great tour of the (unrefridgerated ) meat and seafood market, and then a boat trip downriver to the cooking school. The chef /... More

Even though the instructors seemed to be in a hurry and quite inpatient, the afternoon was well spent at the beautiful cooking school and with all the delicious (seafood) dishes!

We did the 2 hour evening class and I must say that the food was very good. We had a good dinner, although an expensive one. But the cooking class shouldn't be called 'class' or 'school': it's a demonstration, not a course. You get to see someone (who wasn't very friendly) cook your food and tell you what it is... More
