This was the first ccoking class for my husband and he enjoyed it. The boat trip, the humorous chef who taught the lessons and the effecient set up with all stations ready was marvellous. I liked the tour to the market except I couldn't hear or understand the girl; English was not the best and a lot of noise in... more

This was my second time at Red Bridge for a class. I have done both the half day and full day classes. The whole experience is unique. You start in town at their sister business Hai Cafe which has an amazing coutyard and lay out and very interesting menu. Then it is off to the market for a very comprehensive... more

While the cooking school and hands-on experience was good, the Chef's attempt at humour was decidedly "off-colour" with one joke incorporating the "f" word which was totally inappropriate in view of a ten year old girl being in the class. His professionalism was lacking as was that of the salesperson at the end of the class whose attiude was quite... more

Today we đid the Delux Cooking Class at Red Bridge. Our group was 4 adults and 4 children, so we filled a class. From the beginning at the cafe we were laughing and having fun. The chef was fấntastic with the children. The pool was a cool relief. The facilities were beautiful. And the food - AMAZING! The whole day... more

This was a fabulous course, it was so well oranised and so informative. I learnt more in the first 5 minutes than I did in the entire Old Hanoi Cooking Class! The 8am calss was full so they put on a class starting at 11am, which was much better timing. We first went into teh market and learnt about the... more

I did the half day cooking school it starts about 8 and its about 2.30 by the time it is finished. First we did a market walk, through all the fish meat and vege markets, asking questions to the chef on the way round, we did not purchase any food for the cooking but just had a look. Then we... more

This was a really fun day out. We started in the market and then had a boat trip to the restaurant, where the cooking began. The chef was funny and everything was well demostrated, then we got to try cooking each course ourself. Bring your swimming stuff as there's a pool there which we didn't see. A bit of a... more

In the morning you go for a tour to learn about the herbs in the garden, then go do groceries at the local market. After we go to the school which is... more

We love going to cooking schools on holiday to learn about the cuisine and a bit about the food culture, and this is an excellent school. You meet in a cafe in Hoi An itself, then go for an informative tour around the local wet market (spot the fertilised duck eggs and bowls of fish heads for sale!). Then there... more

A trip through the markets, a river cruise, a cooking lesson conducted by a chef that mixed humour with his cooking instructions (he always seemed to pick on the men for cooking demonstrations and ridicule... but in a fun way). Initially I was concerned about a cooking school that lasted over 5 hours - but the time just flew!!! I... more
