This was a very low budget attraction, some of the props were made of cardboard, most were toys, and some even the wrappers from chocolate gold coins. Fun for small children, but not many more people.

For such a rich history of shipwrecks as the one of the coasts of Uruguay, this museum, founded by the most prolific treasure hunters of this waters, is quite poor. What a wonderful collection of bits an pieces which have been recovered from the shipwrecks of the River Plate. We were invited by a friend who knows the owner...therefore we did not have to pay the $100 pesos for each ticket, that I personally believe is a little bit expensive for what you see inside the museum. The highlight for us was to spend an hour with the owner a famous treasure explorer of the River Plate.
