I went there on a school trip with my students and was disappointed at the emptiness in terms of guidance. Find your own information and prepare a talk for your students if you go there.

I've visited the Natural History Museum twice and found both visits to be decent. The Natural History Museum is located next to the Arabian Wildlife Center and the entrance fee (If I remember correctly, is 15 AED) includes both places. The museum has been quiet both times that I have visited. I've only seen a couple other people there. The... More

Wild Animals are kept in open and visitors are in AC. Very Good place visit in summer. Kids can feed the animals. The of course is the wildlife centre. This part is my favourite, as there is a large enclosed aviary inside. It is extremly interesting to see how rich is the desert zoo.The zoo shows lizards, frogs, foxes, birds,... More

probably only Air Conditioned museum in the world where Wild Animals are kept in open and visitors are in AC. Good desert park with animals kept in their natural habitat.

It's a fairly interesting outing, though it's quite a bit out of the city, so it pays to have your own transport. There are several establishments here. One is the natural history museum itself. It speaks of the flora and fauna in the UAE. Very interesting. It also has some interesting dino skeletons inside. I saw that the exhibition area... More

It is extremly interesting to see how rich is the desert fauna..The zoo shows lizards, frogs, foxes, birds, even the very rare or now disappered in the wild, arabic wolves, arabic cheetah etc. It would be great if the UAE could invest more money in protecting, reintroducing these great animals as they did for the oryx.. The rest of the... More

Not sure if I am writing this review for the right attraction. The place we went to was called Sharjah Natural History museum and it had a Zoo and Botanical Garden in the same premises. I did not see any Desert park there. This place is ahead of Sharjah Airport towards the outskirts. Its a good place to spend 2-3... More

We were there during May. To be honest, other than the weather been quite hot, the rest of the experience was fascinating. Beautiful place to see. If you hire a 4x4, you could even drive around in the desert. Really cool experience. :)

The place is just 20 minutes from Dubai away and a great way to learn about the wildlife of the UAE. The entry fee is only 10 AED per person but it has much to offer. You can walk through an indoor park on a learning path. Alos there is a petting zoo for the little ones which is outdoor... More
