It is extremly interesting to see how rich is the desert fauna..The zoo shows lizards, frogs, foxes, birds, even the very rare or now disappered in the wild, arabic wolves, arabic cheetah etc. It would be great if the UAE could invest more money in protecting, reintroducing these great animals as they did for the oryx.. The rest of the... More

Not sure if I am writing this review for the right attraction. The place we went to was called Sharjah Natural History museum and it had a Zoo and Botanical Garden in the same premises. I did not see any Desert park there. This place is ahead of Sharjah Airport towards the outskirts. Its a good place to spend 2-3... More

We were there during May. To be honest, other than the weather been quite hot, the rest of the experience was fascinating. Beautiful place to see. If you hire a 4x4, you could even drive around in the desert. Really cool experience. :)

The place is just 20 minutes from Dubai away and a great way to learn about the wildlife of the UAE. The entry fee is only 10 AED per person but it has much to offer. You can walk through an indoor park on a learning path. Alos there is a petting zoo for the little ones which is outdoor... More

Went here during the summer month as it's mostly an indoor center. There is a petting zoo which we skipped due to the heat. The wildlife center was fantastic. A large variety of animals and very well maintained. There is a restaurant with a view onto a large area where animals roam. Could sit there for a long time and... More

Museum well maintained is quite interactive so even had interesting parts for my 4 year old who could turn wheels, play music, try a parachute and smell nice but also awful smells. would recommend also for a summer activity as the wildlife center... The family with toddlers and grand parents spend a great afternoon here and time went so fast that we only saw 2 out of the 4 attractions, the kids petting farm and Arabian wild life center. The Arabian Wild Life Center is Simply excellent and much bigger than anticipated. A real treat for the kids being crazy about animals. It... More
