Only a traveler to hot regions can understand what is feel and beauty of Oasis. In the town of Al Ain there are 3 small and one big Oasis (Al Ain Oasis). This is about 2 km long walk in the middle of thick palm trees blocks. Very well maintained palm trees sections with wide and clean paths within and... More

We had a great guide through Tours by Locals who took us through this very large oasis. If we didn't have a guide we would not have learned about the farming of dates and the history of the land. This made a bunch of date palms a lot more interesting.

It is nice to walk around. It is quiet and green. You can easily go there with children and spend a couple of hours.

We really enjoyed going here. We had a private guide that explained the history and importance of the oasis so that helped a lot. It was nice to come on a Friday as families were out enjoying themselves and attending mosque - a good snapshot of daily life in the UAE. .y father is in a wheel chair and we... More

This is a big park with a lot of palm trees. It is worth a 5 min visit given that it is right next to al ain national museum, but it is not a destination in itself

I would not recommend the drive from Dubai to Al Ain to visit the oasis and it is just a walk on pathway Very large almost 10 km and dense however after spending the day in Al Ain visit the museum etc it was a nice peaceful walk through the oasis We had no idea an oasis could be so... More

It's a nice walk, but nothing much to do in the park as people are restricted to stay on the pathways to protect the oasis. Some historical placts explaining the history of the oasis would be nice, as well as maps inside the oasis to find the correct gate to exit as it is easy to get lost.

a stroll through the oasis can blow your mid off, especially for someone who has been living in the GCC and is missing the greenery outside these desert lands.. its right in the middle of the city and is well maintained.. thick plantation of date palms, so thick that sunlight is hardly trickling down at some places.. water flowing through... Well worth the effort to visit the Oasis. Free entry, well paved, maintained walkways. Such a bliss to walk amongst the Date Palms with water trickling down the water canals. Birds signing and chattering in the palm trees. Take enough water or cooldrink with as it is a long, blissful walk but no facilities to buy anything. Ablution facilities are... More
