It was a completely new experience to go via thin winding walled brick lanes and experience the oasis. The only sounds were of birds chirping and channels of oasis water irrigating the date trees. We spent about one hour here and could've spent more time.

Such a unique place to visit. We were lucky enough to drive through before having a short walk to enjoy the calmness of the area. Well situated next to the National Museum (which unfortunately was closed....Monday). Lots of car parking available.

Oasis is very near to Inter-city bus stand and next to Al-Ain national museum. Losing yourself in the green can be a dream-come-true here. The towering palms enclose you completely and keep you safe from the scorching sun and you can have a good picnic with your family in the location. The oasis seemed to be enormous and other end... A cluster of oasis, this one is really huge. Free entry, good shady place to rest in the summer. Must see while in Al Ain.

I was looking for local culture and authentic architecture on my first visit to Emirates. Although I was visiting Abu Dhabi I took a trip to Al Ain to see the oasis and it was completely worth it. A very calm and refreshing walk, and I can remember the feeling every time I look at the pictures. I took special... More

For our family and friends visiting the UAE, Al Ain oasis is a must-see. From Sheikh Zayed residence downtown Al Ain, it is worth walking to join the oasis area and enjoy discovering how important the oasis is for UAE culture and life. The oasis is divided in small land plots irrigated by small channels. A peaceful atmosphere makes a... More

Went to take a look because it was conveniently located next to Al Ain Museum and behind the Al Ghazal bus station. I understand the importance and value of an oasis in the middle of the desert, but as an attraction it is not very good. It basically looks like a date farm, without any signs or displays about the... More

If you like Palm trees this is the place you can look over 4 foot walls at lots of them! The photos are not of the Oasis in the main - dry and dusty next to the museum so you might as well go in!

We drove through of this place via car from "backdoor". But anyhow you must see this to understand how important place this have been in old times as oasis between Dubai and Oman. It's quite fascinating to see how "green" oasis is even all surroundings is pure desert.
