Absolutely something special in UAE, the Oasis, and how are they maintained (so clean and so natural). Don't miss the visit, particularly in winter is a very nice walk

Lovely, peaceful walk. Al Ain is muc quieter than the city, so this is a tranquil place. Lots of trees allow a good shade, even in the heat.

The oasis is a pleasant respite during the heat of day. The paths are shaded from the many palm trees in the oasis so it remains nice and cool inside. The channels of running water help to provide a peaceful atmosphere as well. There is a small amount of trash littered throughout the oasis which seems so out of place... More

I enjoy nature so visiting the only oasis of the region was a refreshing change from the desert. I appreciated the greenery and vast land of palms. There was a cold filtered water at the entrance and helped ease the day's heat. Then there was nothing else to do. 3 stars.

The oasis is lovely and we enjoyed seeing the canals and it provides a nice shade in the hot weather but with a number of meandering paths it is easy to get confused. With some difficulty we managed to find an exit so yes definitely needs better signage within the place.

Well, the guide let us expect a bit more, but it is still interesting to visit; not so much the Oasis (just hundreds of date palm trees, but the National Museum right next to it. the thing REALLY not to miss is the Al Jaheli Fort right nearby! Although restored, it gives you an idea of what such forts meant... More

Travelled to the Al Ain Oasis with some friends. It is a UESCO site... so initially I was excited but... after being in the Oasis for well over an hour I came to realize it is more of a maze, all areas are identical, litter is everywhere which is sad, little signage about the animal and flora in the area...... The place is surely captivating and has a lot of potential to a be great tourist attraction. What is needed though are a few important improvements: - Better signage outside to reach the pace - Better entries and exits (we had to a do a weird detour in a very dirty and uneven ground around the main gate as guided... I do not understand this place. Really. What is it good for? Whole oasis is divided into many small sections. Each section has its own entrance. Inside you can find a litter (I mean a lot), palm trees, concrete channels for water distribution (empty at the time of our visit), barbed wires sometimes (!!!) and...that is all! There is no... Even though I liked the green spot in the middle of the desert, the overall experience was filled with much frustration. Firstly, it is quite difficult to find your way there as the person who did road signs for tourist spots in Al Ain failed to do his job properly. We're people who can read maps and navigate well, but... More
