The drive to the top is a must if visiting Al Ain. There are overlook parking areas along the way up each with a different view, you can see the city of Al Ain, into Oman and the beautiful Red Sand dunes in the west of the UAE. Stop at the hotel Mecure for lunch.

A good weekend drive location from Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The drive on the curved roads on this hillock is too good. Parking lots are provided in between to stop to have a look of breathtaking views of Al Ain and take some photos. Although the roads are of best quality, drive carefully esp. during night time.

Maybe it has good view comparable to all gulf countries except Oman. Try to plan your trip away from dusty days, it will block most of the horizon scenery. Temperature above is lower than the city, it is a good outdoor place at summer

It's not worth to visit from Dubai or Abu Dhabi after traveling 150 Kms! Travelling on winter time is preffered! (Nov to April ) riding a motorcycle is a nice experience ! Must go on early mornings or sun set time!!!
