People visit Jebel Hafeet because it is the highest mountain in the UAE, but that's all to it. The road to the Jebel is very well constructed and managed, but once you get up there, there is nothing much to do. There is a cafeteria there with a couple of toilets (that lack basic toiletries). If you have kids, they... More

it is all about the view - and what a view, across a moonscape of a desert. A vast wilderness except for the very distinct Al Ain Oasis, and the distant greenness of the Mubazzara. A long and twisting but well maintained road through the stark rock rewards with great views. We visited in the heat of the afternoon, I... More

The view from Jabal Hafeet is just amazing (provided the sky is clear) It is really a case of "On a clear day you can see forever"! The winding road leading to the parking area at the top bears witness to high class highway engineering. Unfortunately it is of such high class that it challenges drivers to speed up or... More

Great drive both ways, great views at the top. On the way up there is a lovely hotel, coffee shop and other amenities. At the very top, plenty of parking and snack foods etc. I enjoyed the various areas you can stop, the playground etc., I love the UAE

Great views, friendly staff and very clean room although on the older side. I took my family from Australia there to show them the dessert and was recommended to stay here. It was very nice for a short stay.
