Beautiful Marmaris

Beautiful scenery, fantastic views, my family and I really enjoy getting out in the wilds and studying how the locals live and work.

When you treck the mountains around Marmais, you will see some magnificent scenary, pine trees, beautiful ocean vistas and totally relax. Just remember some things: Bring water because you will get thirsty quicker than you think and keep track of traffic. We walked some of the way on the road and I almost got run over by a dolmus coming... More

Beautiful views, lovely country side, drive through mountains and find hidden waterfalls, stopping off at roadside places for refreshments and buying locally produced items.

Scenery around Marmaris and the mountains is breathtaking. As you are driving into town there are places to stop on the mountain roads to take in the views and take photos.

The whole area is nice and the mountains are beautiful. It's always nice and hot and when you stay in a hotel room with a view of the mountains, it's even better! Would certainly visit the Armatulan area again because of these views- however, the Marmaris town wasn't really my thing. :)

Stunning views, worth a visit we passed through these on our way to Dalyan. We were on a coach trip which gave us plenty of opportunities to take some stunning photos.
