We walked from our hotel to Icmeler along the seafront. The walk was lovely, with flowers lining the route and really good scenery. Icmeler beach is relaxing and quiet but with lots of places to eat and drink when you want to

Our activities were limited due to the practicalities of traveling in a wheelchair. The fact that there is a smooth, paved boulevard from Marmaris to Icmeler gave us a wonderful opportunity to investigate other towns.
The walk, about 4km from Marmaris, is delightful along the beachfront past the watersport/diving pontoons and dolphinarium. There are plenty of watering holes to investigate...

I was, frankly, disappointed in Icmeler as a whole. It looked run down and in need of help. Stick to Marmaris where they have invested a LOT in improvements.
we walked along the beach to icmeler very nice walk but nowhere to get a drink on the way as all the beaches had private hotels and bars
Local bus service was excellent. So many water founatins, features in Icmeler and Marmaris whish is very attractive
A lovely beach surrounded by beautiful views! Sand is very gritty and stony, but water shallow a long way out so suitable for children to play, but water very cold at this time of year!
My wife and I went here one morning and were amazed at the amount of sun-loungers on the beach-could not see the sand. Gather that in the high season it gets extremely crowded.
It's a better beach than Marmaris beach, but it's still not great. There's a bar at one end called Brothers Bar, which runs a free shuttle bus (providing you spend something at their bar) from Cettia Grand Resort at 10.30ish and Green Nature Resort shortly after, returning at 4pm.
Just a good place to catch the sun, good and clean with good bars and restaurants which will serve food and drinks on the beach,. Sea is clean and if you need a bit of exercise the walk along the sea front is lovely.
Beach was small, clean and quiet. Nice to see small boats coming in and out of small harbour with their catches.Would recommend staying here for a few days rather than the quick trip we did by ferry.
