Worth a visit, but don't expect to stay here for a few hours

Wonderful view on a sunny day. Not much to say about the artifacts. You will probably only stay here for 1 / 1,5 hour(s). The staff was a little rude sometimes.

From the outside looks a inviting enjoyable museum, artifacts were in protective glass cases in different rooms around museum, every room we were watched liked hawks followed around room by security, every glass case we looked in, security barked not to close, don't touch glass! !they wanted us at least a foot away ,in the end after a awkward 20 minutes... Had a lovely look around this wonderful castle with my partner and 6 year old on our holiday, it's really cheap at only 8 TL per adult and my little one was free, the ruins are in really good condition with beautiful views overlooking Marmaris harbor, and there are lots of artifacts with full information in English to look at.

Information filled visit plus beautiful views of old Marmaris and the bay. Reasonable entry price and free information leaflet. Good range of antiquities to study. Not ideal if steps are an issue but once up on the rampart, the view is spectacular.

Great for a half hour/hour visit. Cheap to get in (8tl)for 2 adults. Amazing views from the top with a good range of well displayed artefacts on show. Lots of steps, some very steep, so not suitable for anyone who will find them tricky. Would recommend a visit!

Worth visiting as it is very cheap - 8TL each (£2) but wont take much more than half hour of your day up

For some reason, Marmaris makes it difficult to find this museum cum castle. It cannot be seen from the town centre and we only realised it existed when we approached the town by sea. We had to search out the entrance as signs are virtually non-existent. It only cost the equivalent of £2 to enter. The castle walls and interior... More

Shouldn't have expected too much at only 8 TL (£2) but this is really very tiny. What exhibits there are, are not described well. The main bonus is that a climb to the top will provide excellent panoramic views of the surrounding area.

This is a small fort which did not cost to much to get in. There are items displayed in some of the rooms with some good information boards. When we entered we were given a ticket for our bag which was left at the gate. There were toilets inside the fort.
