Having spent the last ten days on the lovely beaches around Kalkan we decided to test out the much promoted blue lagoon. Mistake. Sure, the view of the bay is quite something. But unfortunately it gets totally trashed by the ugliest, busiest and most disorganised bathing establishment I have ever seen. The sheer number of people in the sea makes... More

We wanted a small place in Turkey with a nice beach and decided by Oludeniz (which means blue lagoon) because of the beautiful settings. We had a lovely time there, just a few days of rain - the best would be if we were arriving a couple of weeks later.

Great for paragliding for everyone. Beach busy but lovely views all around, Belceki Beach hotel is worth booking for its wonderful food.

We had heard of this place and wanted to go here. It was fantastic. Super warm water. We spent the whole day at the beach and rented a small boat to look around. Will for sure come back here sometime.

Excellent place for a day by the sea but bring your beach shoes (or buy some) as the approach to the sea is very pebbly. Makes getting into the sea 100% easier with shoes on. Make sure you oil up in advance as it does get hot here. Great to lie back and watch the paragliders make their way down... More

Delicious cold, clean and blue water! Go straight to that blue lagoon, where you pay 6 tl and enter! ;)

Went here and was not disappointed. Great at night and in the day. Lovely bars and resturants. Watch the para gliders land in front of the beach.

This is not just a dreadful place, but also dreadfully sad. But first of all, Oludeniz is naturally breathtaking. The lagoon and bay meeting the mountains is beautiful. But it is completely ruined. Every reasonably sunny day it is packed like sardines - the beach, the trees, the crappy 'restaurants', the car parks - everywhere. Car parking is a huge... More

A truley beautiful place especially for the small price we paid. Lush green scenery to rocky mountains & blue green seas. Lots & lots to do however a couple of trips wont break the bank. Our first visit this this year & will be certainly going back.

It was very very busy and very hot when we visited in August however it still has the same charm it has always had. Plenty of restaurants and shops and right on the beach. If you want a more traditional Turkey go to Fethiye
