This is my second visit to Turkey, previous was in 2012 on a Gullet around the Marmaris area. While the deals in the shops are a little harder to come by here you can easily spend 50% less on the same item in a shop next door if you look / barter for a deal. The Restaurants on the strip... More

We are here at the end of the season, so therefore a quite time. But this place is still too touristic for us. We came from Kas 2 hrs further East which had a wonderful village atmosphere & is more like a Greek Island. Oludeniz is on the English package deal list, so therefore I almost felt like I wasn't... The town itself is very busy, with lots of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Our most memorable experience is kayaking on the Blue Lagoon and trying to spot the turtles - managed to see one this October! The sight of all the paragliders in the sky is quite a spectacle.

The beach is a mixture of sand and pebbles, which makes it difficult for walking. It is lovely to watch people paragliding, but you must take care when they land - in case you are in their way! The shops are expensive, staff less than friendly - a typical beach resort!

Beautiful beach and the blue waters are lovely, especially around the lagoon. Some really nice bars and eateries along the front also.

Have only stayed in this resort once, but have been in the same area for the past four years. Whilst staying not faraway, have always gone back. You have easy access to the surrounding area with a good bus service which is quite cheap to use. With the Blue Lagoon not far away, which is well worth a try. Even... More

This is a family run salon run by the charming and friendly husband and wife team, I had a first class shave there, Turkish barbers are definitely the best in the world, the wife would carry out work on ladies nails and hair, while the husband and wife always had a friendly smile and hello whenever they saw us, right... My fourth time in Oludeniz and over 20 yrs it hasn't changed that much really, fortunately it's landlocked so not much potential for growth which is good. A lovely place with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The town beach is OK, but a short walk to the Blue Lagoon will reveal the hidden treasures of the private... More

I and my partner decided to check out Oludeniz beach after receiving some good reviews from our hotel staff. We used a public mini-bus transport, which cost only a few quid and took us about 15min to get their from Ovacik area. As I understood, it was the closest beach from where we were staying. The beach is very beautiful,... More
