This is my third visit to Fethiye and the first Jeep Safari. I didn't expect water guns and lots of children on the trip ready to shoot us. We didn't have water guns to shoot back but enjoyed the laughter and fun, the best was the Gorge and be prepared to pay for the extras. Oludeniz are very very beautiful... More

This is a small town that is brimming with characters. Everyone is very friendly, shop keepers are not aggressive at all, they will ask you to come in to their establishments but all you have to say is No thank you and they will wish you well. This is a very laid back place. Excellent for couples family and friends

Im sure the blue lagoon is a beautiful natural wonder but during peak season it turns into a horrifically busy tourist trap: the day we went there it was hard to even get in the water (August) & the re were crowds queing for hotdogs and slush puppies even though we were officially inside a nuture reserve where one had... I was determined to go to the beach in Oludeniz, even if it meant going on my own. We were in Turkey on our annual family holiday and no-one wanted to go to the beach. I knew if I just stayed in the villa that day I would be so disappointed with myself. So, I packed a small bag of... More

Beach looks lovely but is like walking on glass on the pebbles and there's a severe drop pretty early on if you enter the sea. Beautiful to look at though with plenty of activities including paragliding. Lovely restaurants along te front and a short walk to the Blue Lagoon.

The restaurants are great - the fruit juice smoothies are to die for but watch out for low flying paragliders brilliant to watch

Not a place I think I would stay too busy. Too touristy for me but worth the day out. If you like the hustle and bustle
