Shops, super Tuesday and Friday markets. Eat at the Fish Market, listen to music at the Culture Centre, eat the tasty street food. Admire the sea-front park with topiary sculpters and boats in the harbour. Take a camera!

Great Tuesday market with some hilarious characters. Great fish market too within easy walking distance. You choose your fish, pay for it, then you choose your restaurant, the fishmongers gut and fillet in it then hand it over to them for cooking. Fresh an fabulous.

Superb place! Wonder about the past civilisations?. Lycians were a legendary nation. Have a wonder around the rock tombs and learn more about them by paying a visit to the local Museum. And you may discover something in the process. Some of the world’s most sophisticated yachts are to be found in the Marina here in Fethiye Town. Rock Tombs,... More

We have been thress times in 12 months. It is a great place with some good restaurants and we loved walking, seeing the shops (Wakiki is better than Primark!) and meeting friendly Turkish people. Some say they don't hassle but they do so be prepared in the markets.

Fethiye is a small and charming city with a beautiful port, the departing port for stunning cruises along the cost. The old town holds something for everybody, a nice market, souvenir shops with extremely friendly vendors, nice restaurants, many shops with real and faked brands and hotels in all price categories.Definitely a place to go back to.

We stayed here only one night before embarking on our Lycian Way hike and wished we had stayed longer. This is a busy tourist town with lots of restaurants, shopping and activities. There are loads of options for boat tours as well as other tours from the city center and walkway along the waterfront. There is a small market which... More
