Disclaimer: This review will be about the hike down to Butterfly Valley, not a boat tour to the valley. I'll try to be as detailed as possible for future travelers thinking of doing the hike. HOW TO GET THERE: From Oludeniz, there is a road which follows the coastline toward Faralya and Kabak. There isn't much signage in Oludeniz which... More

We stayed in Butterfly Valley for a night in mid November. As it was off season it was quiet and we pretty much had the entire valley for ourselves apart from some visitors during the day and the staff that works there. The experience was wonderful, we chilled out on the beach and at the rockbar (which was closed), enjoyed... More

Butterfly Valley is wonderful. Hiked down the cliff side from Faralya which is an event in itself. The hike (or climb) is quite dangerous (be careful) as lowering yourself down with ropes over rocks should not be undertaken by those with below average mobility, elderly or children. Loved the hike up and down the cliff. The valley is spectacular from a... More

We were probably misled into higher expectations, so our fault. Basically a long boat trip on the cheap-and-cheerful side with a lot of pleasant swimming stops. Butterfly Valley itself proved to be a long trek through a rough dusty track to a dry waterfall; I saw onty three butterflies (or maybe the same butterfly three times). The sides of the... More

We booked this excursion thinking that it would be great to see a valley full of butterflies. In fact, we saw one butterfly, and it got scared and flew away quickly!!! That being said, the excursion was not a waste as we saw other beautiful things. The butterfly valley itself is nice. You can walk to the waterfall, for a... More

Water is stunning, completely clear. The beach is a stone beach so wear flip flops to protect your feet! There's a waterfall you can pay to walk up to but we just enjoyed swimming in the clear waters as the pool at our hotel is WAY too cold! We went here as part of a boat trip booked via Pioneer... Butterfly Valley made my holiday. Me and my girlfriend were staying in Hisaronu when we met up with an old friend that had been staying near there who helps teach scuba diving in Butterfly Valley in the summer. Him and his boss, Ibo offered to take us diving and we agreed. The scenery is unbelievably pretty and the people were... More

There was nothing to see, and it's not nice to walk up or down, quite slippery at times. There were no butterflies and I never made it to the river gorge because there was not enough time. The people who came back said it was nothing to write home about

Just nature. Don't expect anything more. Food is avarage and you have to be there at the very beginning of the meal. Otherwise, you may end up hungry as there might not be any food left for you. No towels. If low season, bring your warm clothes as there is no heating or extra blankets. Pure wild nature. Good for... More
