Great Sunset views and the best gozleme!

Been going to this beach for the last 5 years. It was our hidden gem and we loved everything about it. But never again. Whilst my children were swimming in the sea, the tourist boats just across the water emptied their sewage tanks into the sea, the sewage came in shore where my children were swimming. The staff at Germilier... More

Crowded by boats and day trippers but this little island has the ruins of an amazing ancient christian religious centre. Amazing views over the bay and Babadag Mountain. Besides ruins nature on and around the the island is amazing. In spite of the speed boats blasting loud music going up and down carrying bouncing passengers alongside the channel between the... Lovely quiet little beach, we visited on a moped and enjoyed the views whilst riding there! Small entrance fee is charged but worth it, There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, and a small restaurant, the sea water is calm, clear and perfect for swimming,

Wonderful opportunity to walk along the ruins up to the top of the island and watch the sun set across the sea. The walk doesn't need anything more than standard footwear, sandals are fine although trainers are probably best, it's not too steep or difficult to walk. The journey will take about 20 minutes up. Take refreshments to enjoy at... More

We love Gemiler... Be careful of the restaurants down there as they don't give you prices and can be very dear. We take the quads down there through the mountains and the forest and spend a few hours down there. Lovely swimming and we get a boat out there too normally.

This is a popular stop on the Blue Cruise circuit and can be crowded at sunset. There are ruins on the island that can be explored and the views from up high are spectacular. Bring a bottle of wine or cold beers to enjoy while you watch the sunset.

Parking was 15YTL - about 3.75GBP - and at least the car was able to be left in the shade. The place was packed with mainly Turkish people which proves that it is a lovely retreat to discover. You will need to get there by car - the walk would be unforgiving. There are shady areas as well as those... More

This quiet little island has the most amazing views. We drove up to the bay and within a few minutes was across the bay on a small speed boat. The round trip boat trip was 40TL for the three of us. We just called the pilot for the trip back. I think you can also just ask someone at the... More

This is a beautiful spot, we went last month and were charged 10 lira to enter, we made the mistake of sitting down for a drink without first asking the price and were ripped off terribly by the cafe owners there. We went again today determined not to fall for the same con again only to find that they have... More
