we are a family of four with children 12 and 10 and we spent an afternoon at the gorge arriving about 4pm after all the tour groups had gone. It was still very busy at the beginning of the gorge but much quieter the further you went in. We were approached by a guide who took us to the waterfall... More

There are a number of rafting companies, some supply you with footwear, helmet and life jacket, this is the safest option. The trip down stream is fast, and water freezing, even on a extremely hot day. If taking your camera make sure it's waterproof, and tied onto your to your tightly. The walk up the gorge is at an additional... More

We hired a jeep and drove there but many companies jeep safaris to visit. The gorge is huge and the water is I cold. Whilst there we rafted down the gorge for only £10, great valu a great experience. Do hire shoes if you walk up the gorge as flip flops are often seen flying down, once lost never seen... More

Rather busy and rather too commercial. Stop at the first cafe, park for free and buy a drink from them on the way back. You have to go and experience it. It's worth the effort...but you don;t need to pay for an organised tour. Go and do it for yourself!

We came here as part of a Jeep Safari in August and it was really lovely. It wasn't very busy considering the time of year... You can sit around the exit of the gorge and go rafting if you wish. It costs 5 lira (£1-something) for entry into the actual gorge and it is well worth it!! So pretty, there... More

Wanted to visit this place after seeing photos of it, can highly recommend this fun day. we drove there ourselves, if you do this you have to watch carefully for the sign off the main road, we missed it the first time, but didn't go too far before we realised. A very relaxing day spent resting by the shaded and... More

Went here as part of the jeep safari. It was beautiful! Scenic and relaxing, it was one of my favourite parts of the trip. Food was amazing! Loved seeing the white water rafters and chilling on the beds.

Took family of four, 11year and 16year old kids. Good fun walking up the gorge. As per previous comments drive OVER first bridge and avoid paid carpark. Also, although there are tough parts to navigate guides generally will help all. We didn't take a formal guide but did tip the one that helped my son through one of the tricker... More

This is a tourist honey pot in the summer months. I visited in August 2014 and expected it to be very busy. I had arrived early in the day as part of a guided tour. It cost a further 5tl to enter the gorge, which was relatively quiet at the time but heaving by the time we left. I was... More
