Visited a couple of times both as a trip and independently. Both ways are good - we prefer independently, you can go up the gorge, get in the water, it is absolutely freezing! Some mad people ride the surge down to the cafe area! One thing to remember is there is a charge to go up the gorge, if your... More

Loved everything about this visit. The Gorge has changed somewhat over the past 12 months. Some very deep areas to get through, be prepared to get very WET. A must to everyone when visiting Dalaman area. Amazing views, beautiful walk, and we again booked with Pioneer Travel, had an AMAZING Guide.

A beautiful place to visit, ice cold crystal blue water. Long walk up the gorge fir around 1 hour, slightly awkward climbing and deep wading but the end is amazing water fall and natural smooth rock slides. Wear trainers or substantial sandals as stones under foot.

Only about 30mins drive from Calis beach this is a great day out. The gorge is well worth a visit (very cheap) the water is freezing (even if its 40 degs !!!) and runs really fast so be very careful. Just outside the gorge are a few restaurants on raised areas that overlook the slow moving river and it is... More

It is a wonderful place, but I'll write about things to watch out. 1) wear "sea shoes." You can brings some with you or rent them at the entrance. But do not wear flip flops or sneakers. 2) Wear shorts, you get into a thigh-high water to enter the gorge. After the first entrance, it is pretty much very shallow... More

We spent a few hours in the Saklikent Gorge and had a fantastic time. As soon as we paid the entrance fee, a young man approached us and told us that he was our guide. We wrongly assumed that he had been assigned to us as we were a group and that the entry fee covered him. So we followed... More

Drove to Saklikent Gorge and didnt go on organised trip. Paid extra for the guide and did wonder why at the start. However glad we did, walked through to the waterfall, some parts extremely slippy and deep but the guide knew where the natural obstacles were and pointed out things on the way. Nice day out, also shadey and cool... More

We took the dolmus from Fethiye to Saklikent. It was 11 TL and runs every 20 minutes. You can stop and transfer to TLOS at a small town along the way, but it is not straightforward . Around the gorge there are many restaurants with docks and hammocks that are next to pools fed by the cold springs. The depth... More
