We enjoyed the fruit and veg part. Buying fruit along the way and eating it was a food idea! Fresh, cheap and amazing! That area isn't as hot as the other areas. Some vendors know the heat helps their prices and we purchased water for 2TL and then 1TL 30 mins later. Always barter!!! Not with food or water but... More

This is like any other market you see in England only difference is there are no genuine articles all fakes and there are some choice phrases the seller you like cheaper than the shop lifters, cheaper than primarni, they speak very good English. But beware they will con you if you don't barter. Stick to your guns and be prepared... More

When you are on holiday in the Fethiye area, and you are at a loose end on a Tuesday you must visit the market. We were staying in the Calis Beach area, so, a quick Dolmus journey and there we were. It's easy, the drivers know where every tourist is going that morning and announce the stop. The market itself... More

You can't go to turkey without experiencing the atmosphere and ambience of a street market. There are very few prices advertised on the goods. It's a dual between you and the trader, to get the right price. Most of the goods are fake designer names. But the quality is surprisingly good. Most of the stalls sell more a less the... More

You can get some great bargains but check what your buying. Like any market - check your change. There is also lots of crap here too, be choosy. When the weather is hot it get very stuffy under the canvases.

the market is worth a visit with lots to see but be prepared for the constant barrage of "cheap as chips and cheaper than shoplifting". you can get some deals but just be sure of what you are buying.

This market is full of fake goods and very limited real turkish products. The men on the stalls are pushy and rude, and thats all you hear is "cheaper than asda"!! The only good thing about it is the cafe stalls at the end, the women were really lovely and the food is mainly pancakes and drinks but they do... More

Liked: Fresh food where the locals shop, great spices and grinders, fake brand names handbags, perfume, trainers etc. Be prepared to be shouted at, bothered, hot and haggle! But if you can handle it you can get a great bargain and it's certainly worth a visit.
