Loved the beautiful fresh juices made and the kebabs inside the market so after shopping for bargains you can have something to eat straight away

This market is held in Fethiye on a Tuesday and is really large, so unless you want to whizz round really fast you should allow a few hours here. There are so many fruit and veg stalls I wonder how they make money because it must be just luck if you choose to buy from a particular stall. All of... More

Tuesday market fruit and veg plus genuine Turkish (fake) designer goods that are difficult to tell from the genuine article .... paid less that £2 for a carrier bag full of really tasty grapes (nothing like the tasteless UK supermarket variety) and £1:50 for a 5 kilo watermelon (again very tasty) also tried Cactus fruit (a word of warning ........ I'm not sure this market needs yet another review as everyone has said just about everything about it! Even though it IS full of copied 'labels' in handbags and clothes, there is still something awesome about the scale of the endeavour that these people will put into making a living and if that means trawling through dozens of stalls all... Huge, never ending market with lots to see and buy. Don't forget to visit the traditional end of this market where better bargains for your Turkish Delight can be found. Enjoy the banter with the stall holders, take it all in good spirit. Don't forget to walk around Fethiye marina, it's beautiful.

Was expecting to be hassled left, right and centre but they were actually pretty good if you said no thanks. Very big, best to go in the morning when it's less busy. Got a few authentic turkish items for good price. Don't forget to haggle and enjoy your shopping trip :-)

As they say once you been to an open bazaar in Turkey/Morocco you've seen them all. But this is worth the visit and i preferred the fresh produce and variety over the fake goods which are in abundance. We also are in the local food area which is chaos but the locals are friendly and the food is good and... More

I gave this 3stars because the food stalls are so colourful. But the fake goods are such a turn-off; so many over-tattooed Brits haggling over fake Armani before heading off for their full English breakfasts. The banter is shocking -we have managed to export so many tacky phrases from TV comedies that are used by local stall holders and I... More

Well worth a visit, some people may find it intimidating with the sales pitch from the stall holders, they can be in your face at times. The sales banter is brilliant I personally couldn't stop laughing with the crys of- Genuine fake/ cheaper than shoplifting/ cheaper than the salvation army lol the list goes on.Not bad quality fakes regarding clothes and very cheap,but...
