Loved walking through the fruit and veg market with all the lovely spices. Once you enter the clothes, shoes and genuine fake goods etc section of the market prepare to be pestered as "no hassle geezer" means that you will be hassled until you buy. Don't spend too much everything we bought fell apart when we got it home. But... More

This Tuesday market is amazing. You can get almost everything and they take TL and GBP. There are some bargains but be prepared to haggle and not agree their first price. I bought a sweatshirt and misheard the GBP as £8. After handing over a £10 note he insisted he said £18. I told him no so he dropped his... More

Fethiye is my local market but not somewhere to be in the heat of July and August. If you are planning to visit and are holidaying during the hottest part of the year - well bring water and come early. It's definitely a great place for the avid photographer - the extent of the fruit and vegetable market is astounding.... More

For all of those who love to shop then this is for you. there are rows upon rows of stalls selling products of all description. from food to jewelry and everything in between. if you cant find what your looking for at the price you want to pay at one stall you will find it at another.

This was a great market and you could get anything from food to clothes, jewellery. You just have to be prepared to barter. Never accept their 1st offer. I got some pleasure in knocking their prices down. Well worth a visit.
