Lots of knock offs and fakes. Not much variety - Hollister, Calvin Klein, Boss, etc. About the same quality as H&M but not a super bargain. The food section was a little dissapointing - was hoping for some decent street food.

The banter of the market traders was very amusing as they tried to attract us to their stalls. It was extremely hot under the canvass.

Fethiye market is hot, overcrowded and hard to navigate. If you are near Dalyan, your tour operator will try to offer you tours to Fethiye market and overcrowded Olüdeniz. Dalyan market on Sats is much nicer; somehow airier and less hassled, easier to find veg and spice stalls as well as the other stuff and closer to cafes and restaurants... More

The Tuesday Market is a lively affair and not for the faint hearted but I loved it. Not so happy to see any number of brands being ripped off but it's the blatant displays by the stall holders which is such fun. Rather than be intimated or ignore I suggest that you embrace it, be nice back, take time for... More

Thought the old times had gone but delighted to see the old ladies, and some young, dressed in their best clothes selling their own local produce. Don't just pass them by as this is a sight that is sadly changing. Young people touting on stalls not so polite but got apology from the older men. Many tourists dress as if... More

Nicely situated along a waterway, beautiful selection of fruits, good for cheap spices and turkish delight. If your buying shoes or handbags then be prepared for some serious bartering. Nice places for lunch and an easy walk into Fethiye. We caught the Dolmus there and back from Ovacik which was really easy.

What an experience biggest ever have been on. Enjoy the bartering and see the brilliant copies. Never seen a vegetable market like it.

having stayed many times in fethiya but to be honest i would not waste my time visiting the market. its mainley cheap rubbish. if you suit case goes missing then you could kit yourself out for a few pounds. also get really hot in there as well.
