The Tuesday market located near the stadium is well worth a trip for holiday makers and bargain hunters alike. Lots fake designer goods. Lots cheap holiday gear. T-shirt shorts flip flops towels etc. Cheap enough to use and leave behind. Get there early and avoid the mid day and afternoon heat it's unbearable. Always barter it is expected and get... More

We made the mistake of going here on Friday, only to find that it's exclusively fruit and vegetables! Apparently not on other days, and still a real spectacle even so with lots of genuine Turkish ambience and clamour to the place. Great for the experience, but if you want to actually buy anything other than fruit and vegetables - avoid... More

Had hours of fun in the market but beware ot gets very hot in august! Even got to see a turtle in the bay on the way! Great fun, great fakes, and just enjoy thw experience for what it is. Its not the grab and force sale you expect. Just bartering, good laugh and half decent stuff at rock bottom... More

Decided to give the market a visit, bus driver kindly told us where to get off having paid 2 TL to get there. Never seen so many wonderful colours in one space. Enjoyed tasting the Turkish delight and sampling the spices. Had a great lunch where the locals were sitting to eat. Bought some lovely sandles . Spent both English... More

Ok it might be good if you can haggle and you enjoy this, I don't, yep I probably shouldn't have gone but one has to experience such things. For those of you who love to haggling I guess it's a buyers market, go and enjoy yourself lots of name brands in bags, clothes, watches, etc. my daughter bought an ICE... More

I love Turkish Markets the atmosphere is electric. Plenty of bargains to be had but for me the highlight was the fresh fruit and veg. You can get the usual bags, clothes, leather, gifts etc from anywhere but the smell from the food area was amazing. If you are in a villa or self catering I recommend a visit. You... More

This is a typical Turkish market vending loads of fruit vegetables and the ever prevalent fake merchandise. To be honest some of the stuff on sale here was more expensive than in the town and even after haggling, I could still buy the item I was after cheaper on the ticket price in town. Even the fakes are fake. This... More

A great market to visit on a Tuesday for your fake designer wear ,the wife always gets shoes, and a handbag or two ,I just settle for a t shirt or two and a couple of ordinary shirts ,real fake ones ,we always make a day of it ,a few hours at the market ,and then a stroll and lunch at... More

This market was hot and over rated. Yes, its big but you have more haggling power in town and to be honest alot of the goodies were really tacky. I love to shop and I got great bargains in town at a much lower price than these stall holders were willing to settle for.
