Sahib-i Ata Mosque is just the mosque part of a bigger and larger complex built back in 13th century. Sahip Ata who gave his name to both the mosque and the complex in general, was an important and successful vizier of the time. Unfortunately what remains from the mosque today is only the amazing gate, beautiful minaret colored in turquoise... More

Sahib-i Ata complex including a mosque and recently renovated lodge for traveling dervishes and the tomb of the owner along with his family members has one of the best Seljuk tile samples. Built by the Seljuk Grand Vizier Sahib Ata, also the founder of İnce Minareli Medrese (another must see for Konya) has been recently renovated and the lodge serves... More
