It's nice to walk around in it, but this mall is half empty, and the shops are very expensive. You can walk through it on your way. Don't come to this area for it.

We sat in a small cafe and had some delicious turkish tea and sandwiches. We chose to sit right next to the window where we could enjoy the view of the sea. I can only say that the view from the Konak Pier is magical! I loved the old building as well. It could tell the history of the place... More

The pier is a nice spot to watch both fish and people, and the promenade is quite nice. The mall is just OK, but is a place to stop for tea or coffee unless you're interested in high-priced stuff, which I'm really not.

Ok, there seems to be a confusion. the type of the landmark on this site is listed as "mall", but the picture is of the promenade. Both share the same name. My review will be mostly about the pier/promenade itself, not the mall. Still, briefly about the mall. Overpriced. Empty. Sad. Now, the promenade. I certainly recommend it for a... More

The Konak Pier is a delightful location for a stroll along the Gulf of Izmir. One can walk for a good distance and there are some great places to just sit and watch people. There is an upscale enclosed shopping mall along the pier that was designed by Gustave Eiffel (Eiffel Tower). Across from the promenade are many restaurants and... More

Konak Pier is a very good place for a stroll. If you get tired or hungry there are numerous cafes across the street.

We disembarked from a ferry at Konak, bought sandwiches from a street vendor and enjoyed some people watching while we sat on a bench and ate.

A small but beautiful mall converted from the old pier building. Outside of the mall is very windy and has an absolutely amazing view of the sea.
