Though a must see area in İzmir, it cannot be considered a marvel, lots of restaurants and coffee shops along the park near the sea.A dining area and a walk next to the sea can be nice

Ok, view is great and it is one of must-see attractions of the city, however, in all the hustle and bustle and the crowd, it is not so peaceful and also the restaurants are not of best quality except some rare ones, but they are so overpriced. Would prefer other shores rather than this one if I don't have to.

Excellent Turkish dinner at Recep Usta Restaurant. Make sure to have the concierge reserve your table, othervise you may have to wait an hour or longer to be seated.

Izmir must have several attractions, but the biggest and famous is the seaside. When the weather is good, it´s lovely to walk along the seaside, have lunch or dinner, seat enjoying the view. This area is much attended by tourists but also the locals, in fact the Izmir citizens knows how to enjoy live and the seaside

I love Izmir and I love spending time on the coast. It is always crowded even though it rains. Take your drink and food, sit down on the grass, let yourself feel the joy and love of this city.

If you go to İzmir do not hesitate to walkalong Kordon even if it is too hot because there is always a wind called Meltem from the sea to the land which is makes walking comfortable . while walking take many photos of city bay cruises and get on one if you have time.If not it takes almost 3 hours... Very nice place to have a walk and feel the sea breeze. One of the Izmir´s musts. There are several modern monuments, to take photos, like one dedicated to the expulsion of the greek people, or some to Atatürk.
