It is very nice to stroll down by the sea and enjoy the nice breeze from Izmir bay, however you may feel the pollution in the evenings in winter when the central heating system of some apartment buildings gets fired up with coal. But eventually all buildings' heating system will be converted into natural gas. You may rent bicycles from... More

kordonboyu is the most romantic area of Izmir I think, it starts from Konak/pasaport to Alsancak port.Along the seaside you can walk and sea the panoroma of Izmir.Usually sunset is magic at kordon.Also summer time you can have cold beer and mussels at one of the pubs of kordon or you can get fish and turkish delicious mezes at restaurants... More

take a long walk here along seaside. the most crowded area of city. youth is here. we found so many good bars and restaurants. Actually most of restaurants are also functioning as bars.

Enjoy sea breeze, sun, nice weather, friendly people of Izmır and life! It is a nice place for fun, cycling, walking around and get rest in the seaview cafes and restaurants.

After watching the sunset over the Ismir gulf,we had a wonterful dinner at a very nice restaurant,here(unfortunatly i cant recall the name).You can find many shops selling brand name cloths,many cafeterias etc or you can walk and watch.Very nice area.

You can enjoy the sunset with your friends, on the grass or in any one of the cafes, pubs, or restaurants facing the sea. Outside the fish restaurants the prices are acceptable (but check on the menu first), before You order a fish make sure that you talk about the prize
