The ‘fairy castles’ section of pools made from dissolved limestone is one of the unique geological features of the world and the pictures I have seen of it are wonderful. However the reality is quite different. Firstly I was unaware it was accessed from the top via yet another set of ruins (which you have to pay an entry fee... More

Loved the views and the Helipolis walk. Don't miss the museum...most do...it contains the best remains.

Its a stunning place, full of history, stunning views and a lovely swim. Its Unique, From Marmaris it cost roughly £30 plus additional £8 to swim in the springs, travel agencies do not tell you that. Also about 9 hours travel to and from in total, with stops some of which annoying. On your dinner on a stop off just... More

From the "city of the dead." To the city gate... To the ruins... To the memorial to St. Phillip... To the theater. So much to see including the "cotton castle". The pools of warm (and some say healing waters) water to put our feet in or jump in. It's an experience!

We took a night bus from Cappadocia to Pamukkale, arrived there around 7.30am.We were offered a tour package, but we decided to just go by ourselves.Went in around 9am,but there were lots of people already in. No tripod allowed. The travertines were very beautiful.Later on that day,it was really hot! We walked all the way to the other side, stopping to take... More

What a treat to walk on these salt terraces. I wonder if in years to come people will still be able to do this. We loved it. Really impressed. Worth the visit. We went late in the day (it was a very hot day) and watched the sunset - so there weren't many people there and it felt like we... More

The travertines are amazing, just as in the photographs. In order to get there we travelled 6 hours by coach from Bodrum, and then reach our next destination (Istanbul) 90 minutes by bus to the airport followed by a 60-minute flight. Not sure it's worth all that time and effort unless it's one you want to tick off your list...... More

The park is a lovely place with a great view and beautiful ducks and ducklings swimming in the pond. It's a great place for a picnic and also has ample of seating places. The park has an amazing salt range view and the sunsets are beautiful. Tip: Do take something warm to wear as the temperature falls at night.

I had some doubts before visiting since I read allot of reviews saying the area was exploited and very touristy in the bad sense. But to my surprise the area felt very relaxed and well organised despite the bus loads of people visiting everyday. The area is very beautiful and walking on the white cliffs seem almost unreal. We also... More

Amazing place - so well kept and clean. You are very exposed to the sun so sun lotion is a must! Feels really wonderful on your feet.
