Turasan is a winery with medal winning wines (Blush is one of them), I have tasted 3-4 of their wines and all were delicious. If you want a local grape, go for "Seneler Okuzgozu" for a mild taste, or "Seneler Okuzgozu-Bogazkere" for a slightly stronger taste. If you want a real strong taste, then you will love the "Seneler Cabernet... More

We stopped in for a wine tasting, and we knew there was a chance we may be able to do the tasting free of charge since my husband is Turkish (the prices are more geared towards the foreign crowd). We did indeed get to a taste a few different wines; in fact, I wouldn't have done the tasting if it... More

I did the wine tasting for 20 TL. I had good service from an English speaking person who let me taste wines after my description of what I like. Local wines or with mixed grapes

If you are looking for a wine tasting or to buy local wines don t go here. When I asked Turasan atendant for wines with local grapes he said: our quality wines are produced with international varieties. He said that with the local grapes he produces only table wines. When I asked him to degustate these table wines he replied:... More

We had no idea what to expect coming in. There are terrible reviews and good ones. We have been traveling around the world trying wine, tasting Turkey wines at time has been a struggle but I have always been pleased with Turasan's wines. They offer 2 tasting options to be clear: one is free - a white and a red... More

In Turasan's shop, wine is offered to everyone who wants to taste and there is no obligation to buy - you will though. You can taste white, rose and red wine. Turasan is famous with the white wine called Emir, which you can buy for 30 TL. You can also buy wine accessories, nuts and even glasses.

This is a great winery with a nice local character embedded in the caves. The tour of the production facilities was very very impressive, the tour guide was very knowledgable, and the different selections of wine were delightful. Seneler series are special but even the table wine Cappadocia tastes nice and smooth. One problem with the place is that it... More

We did a wine tasting and Sarap Butigi provided generous service including a complementary tour of the caves. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about the wines that are award winning. Definitely worth the visit.
