New Goreme Tour is the agency you are looking for!
I contacted them a week before my trip on Whatsapp and the replied fast. Communication was smooth, staff was helpful, patient and very kind, they replied to all my questions quickly.
I booked a golden tour and silver tour.
On one hand, I experienced a 16km trekking with 2 guides and nobody else so it was kind of PRIVATE tour for me, really, really amazing, I had the time of my life.
On the other other hand, silver tour was cancelled because they didn't reach the minimum people (4) so we agreed for a sunset tour in red&rose valley. Their own guide was full so they asked to two other ones and as a result I experienced a PRIVATE tour AGAIN. You can now understand how professional, kind, helpful and thoughtful these people are.
So, to sum up, if you travel to Cappadocia and you are looking for a professional agency this is the place for you, totally worth it and recommended!
Thank you again, I had wonderful experience.

Less than 24 hours before our hot air balloon tour, it got canceled, leaving us completely and utterly devastated. Our hotel booked a red tour for us, and little did we know that a knight in shining armor, Enes, was coming to our rescue to lift our spirits and show us the beauty of Cappadocia. We had a great time and Enes was informative, communicative, patient, and personable.
The red tour packs a lot in, and we enjoyed learning about the history and natural rock formations of the region. Big thanks to Enes and New Göreme Tours!

We signed for the red tour and green tour. Feyzullah is a great tourist guide. He explained everything to us, a lot of history, traditions and amazing places to see. Even lunch was great. We are very happy and we recommend him to all our friends and family who wants to visit Capadocia. I wish I there are more than 5 stars to review.

I recommend booking all your tours with New Goreme Tours. They are extremely professional and will take great care of you! My girlfriend and I did the horseback riding, the hot air balloon, the atv rides, the red tour and the green tour with them. A combination of 5 tours for a special price and special treatment. It is not worth looking elsewhere, they are the best! Take it from someone who works in the travel industry and sees the best tour operators around the world!

Very very knowledgeable in the history of all we saw. We had planned on seeing the sites on our own with our rented car. Taking the tour instead was a smart decision. Also, having a careful driver - Adnan - reinforced our decision. Lany and John

A tour with Mert is a must-do while in Cappadocia. He took us to all the best spots and took great photos of us. He had great knowledge of the history and landscape. Also, good restaurant stops too. Highly recommend!

Myself and a group of 5 other friends used New Goreme Tours when we recently visited Turkey. We booked a private tour guide and car for our stay in Cappadocia, as well as for a hot air balloon ride.
I should start off by saying that the private tour guide and driver were EXCELLENT. No complaints there.
However, the hot air balloon ride was downright TERRIBLE. For those of you who use tour companies, you will know that they often times have special connections or relationships with 3rd party excursion companies. The agent that we dealt with, Ibrahim, confirmed for us in writing that there were 2 options for hot air balloon companies. He encouraged us to pay a 10 euro premium to go with Voyager Balloons because [quote], "...We also offer a new service with Voyager Balloons, the comfort flight. It also lasts for 1 hour like the regular one, but it has more space in the basket as there are only 12 people in a basket meant for 16."
As we were travelling as a group of 6, we decided to go with the "premium" Voyager experience for a more spacious experience.
However, upon showing up at the departure site that morning, our group was crammed into a basket with at least a dozen other people. Upon returning to Cappadocia, we stopped by the New Goreme office and asked to speak with Ibrahim. He was not available, so we spoke to a colleague, Monica.
We explained our situation to Monica, and said that since we were NOT offered more spacious "comfort" experience, we would like the 10 euros/person refunded to each of us. She declined, was downright rude, and kept saying it was not her (or the agency's fault).
We listened, and then reinforced that we trusted her agency because they are specialists, and that if they promised their customers a spacious experience and did not deliver, they should not be charging us for the premium. Monica refused to both refund our money or apologize for the inconvenience, instead saying [quote], "We did not do anything wrong".
Best of all, when we told her that New Goreme had misled us, she said [quote], "you shouldn't trust anyone. Everyone in Cappadocia are liars", reinforcing that neither New Goreme Tours, Voyager Balloons, nor any other legitimate business in Cappadocia should be trusted.
Fortunately for us, the rest of our trip through Cappadocia was all but pleasant - people proved to be very tourist friendly and trustworthy. The only liar in Cappadocia is New Goreme Tours.
DO NOT TRUST IBRAHIM, MONICA, OR NEW GOREME TOURS. DO NOT USE THEM.
If anyone would like the email transcript showing how this agency misled us, drop me a private note and I can forward to you.

We do not operate balloon flights ourselves, we book them with a third party, a balloon company. We offered the customers in question 2 options with Voyager Balloons, the standard flight and the comfort flight. The price difference between the 2 options is 20€, not 10€. Comfort flight means that fewer people fly in a basket meant for more, either 12 people in a basket meant for 16 or 16 people in a basket meant for 20. The balloon company decides which basket to use depending on the number of reservations they have.
The customers flew in a basket meant for 20 people and there were 16 people in the basket, 4 per compartment. Because of the extremely strict safety regulations balloon baskets are never crammed or crowded even if the allowed number of people flies there in case of a standard flight, as there has to be enough space for everyone in the basket to take the landing position. The customers in case were simply disappointed by having 16 people in the basket instead of 12, there was no issue with not having enough space. They immediately seized the opportunity to try to blackmail us into giving them a complete refund, not the price difference between the 2 different options. When we suggested they should discuss it with the balloon company, which can explain the situation to them maybe better, they flatly refused, being fully aware that they did not have any valid reason for a complaint. They insisted on getting a full refund for their 'terrible experience' and threatened to write a bad review about us on Tripadvisor if we did not. If customers have a valid complaint, we immediately deal with it and give a full refund if justified. However, we do not let ourselves be subjected to any kind of blackmail without any valid reason.

Sorry cant say whether tours will be operational as Cappadocia is inland is cold even in the summer season temperature falls ranges from 15-25.
Hot Air Balloon rid is a must do here and other than that both the tours pretty much covers all the mention-able spots in the area. Buggy rides are also popular here if you are in to that.
Hotels usually helps in arranging tours so i will advise you to ask them once you are there

My wife and I are visiting Istanbul for the 4th time this December 2016. We are planning to take the plane to Goreme and spend a full day visiting Cappadocia. Is this feasable or not or do we need to spend overnight there?
How to get from airport to Hotel?
Are there special daily tours to be booked on site? What is the average price? Who can arrange that?
Thanks to anyone who can help with answers.
Is it possible to visit Cappadocia in one day?

Hi friend,
You can do a full day tour but it will be very tiring. Instead if you can stay overnight would be best. Cappadocia is a beautiful, calm and peaceful place. If you have been to Istanbul 4 times I suggest you take 2 days in cappadocia. We stayed at the Ottoman caves hotel, Goreme, it is very relaxing. They do not have a 24 hours restaurant so food can be ordered by them for you in the room or there are restaurants on the main road. The staff there are courteous and sweet to talk to. Always helping. But there are other hotels too that you can check online.
To get from the airport to hotel you need to inform the hotel of your flight and time, they will arrange a pick up and drop for you. Please ask them for the price or whether it's inclusive. The nearest airport is Nevshehir. We had our pick up from Kayseri as there are more flights to this place, which was almost 1 hour drive.
With regards to the tour, I suggest New Goreme Tours with Mesut as your guide. He has a Vast knowledge of the area. The goreme open air museum is 20 minutes walk from the hotel that I mentioned.
Hope this was helpful. Do revert if you have anymore queries. Have a wonderful time in Cappadocia. It's heaven away from the maddening world. The people are wonderful. Did not experience even 1 unkind person. We came back to Istanbul with a renewed faith in people.

It depends on when you are coming. If you come in January or February, the we have Winter Special Tours Tour 1 takes you to Derinkuyu underground city, which would definitely be fun for the 8-year old but I'm not sure about the younger one, as some children can be scared there although others love it. From March on we have our regular Fairy Chimneys and Underground City tours and the latter again includes Derinkuyu. In my opinion, the choice should depend on the younger kid, if they are fine with narrow and slightly darl tunnels and spaces, then the tour including the underground city is more exciting.

Hello, we will soon be visiting Turkey and only have one free day in Cappadocia. With that in mind, which tour would you recommend? Winter Special 1, Winter Special 2, Underground City, or Fairy Chimney Tour?
Thanks!!

If you are coming in January or February, then we only have Winter Special Tours, not the other ones. If you only have one day, I recommend Tour 1 which takes you to the most interesting sights like Derinkuyu underground city, Cavusin village and Pasabag.
