It's that passion, tempered with more than twenty years of experience flying balloons that has helped us become the best ballooning operator in Turkey. Every flight is a fantastic adventure as we float intimately amongst the fairy chimneys and soar over the magnificent Cappadocian landscape. A flight with Kapadokya Balloons is truly "the experience of a lifetime!" « less

We were picked up at our hotel, driven to a gathering spot where we had a delicious and filling breakfast, and then we were driven to meet our pilot, get a safety briefing, and embark on our flight. Restrooms are at the place where you have breakfast...there is nothing at the field where you board your balloon. We counted 82... More

We went on the balloon trip yesterday morning. Following the recommedation of our landlady we booked the "Deluxe" flight. Not a cheap fun, but absolutely worth it. Starting from a place in Zemi valley (away from the mass starting places) we had a really great experience. Special thanks to our pilot Serhan - he was so experienced, calm and relaxed... More

Kapadokya balloons are really well organised and professional. We were picked up from the hotel, driven to a venue where we had a tasty Turkish breakfast. The balloon ride was brilliantly organised, the pilot Hatem was Egyptian and had been flying for many years. He took us down low, up high and landed gently in a field at the end.... More

My favorite experience in all of Turkey! You will remember the beautiful valleys, the other balloons nearby, and the quiet almost elevator like ride upwards for a long time. Yes, it is expensive, and the balloon is a bit crowded but I felt nothing but safe the entire time. The pilot, Mustafa, made a perfect landing on top of the... More

There are numerous companies offering balloon rides in this area. The experience of the traveler on April 20 does not match ours. We went with Kapadokya Balloons earlier that same week... twice. Twice because the first time we went, while the sky was wonderfully clear, the pilots thought the wind was a bit too unpredictable and thought there could be... More

We went ballooning while touring Turkey and it was supposed to be one of the highlights; it was memorable. We were told this was one of the most if not the most reputable ballooning company in Cappadoccia. On arrival I was excited to see all the balloons getting ready to take off, it was an amazing sight. Once we made... More

It was interesting how they initially took us to a restaurant for while, pre flight and then we watched anatolian balloons blow their balloons up in a car park in front of a restaurant. They then put us into vans and we drove further into the valley to the top of hills where our balloons were being blown up. That... More

yes, it is expensive. yes, it is early in the morning. but i got over my grumpiness as soon as i saw them pumping up the balloon. though i was a bit surprised to see so many people that were going to share our basket, i forgot all about them once we lifted off the ground. getting into the basket... The flight was a great experience. Seeing all these balloons over the amazing landscape is an unforgettable sight. The whole operation was very well organized and we felt very safe with our pilot Mustafa. Mustafa explained a lot of interesting facts about the area, about the balloons and piloting balloons. It was a lot of fun to watch balloons prepared... More

BRING A CAMERA!!! Dont panic, these guys are professionals. Pre pare to be amazed by the colors and the designs of the balloons! You'll be blown away! Dont eat too much though, people who get motion sickness easily might lose their breakfast after the 45 min. flight. visited april 2011 More
