Ephesus - it was great! we did not go with Thomas Cook or any other travel agent for that matter. On last day of holiday was going to give this a miss and stay by the pool but very glad I didn't. The site is huge and you get a real feeling for the layout of this ancient town, something I haven't experienced in other ruins. Very easy to get there by Dolmus from Kusadasi. More

Start at the top. We took a horse and cart from the bottom carpark. Great fun and meant the kids didn't have to walk so far. We went in the afternoon - less tour buses! But make sure you have enough time - there is so much to see. More
