Archaeologous Tours did a wonderful job. We booked a private tour for 20 of which 12 were children. John our guide for Izmir was on time and waiting for us at the port. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Our short schedule was accommodated with no issues and our lunch at the Hali Village was great. In Istanbul we had... More

Thank you. It was a pleasure working with your private group of 20. We certainly hear a lot about our guide John and his charming knowledgeable ways. So it's good to hear that you felt the same way. I'm glad that you booked multiple ports with us and were pleased with our services. I will give Ourania your compliment as... More

Our special charter required a very flexible and professional approach and we had been very let down by other agents who were not sensitive to our needs and treated us like any old cruise company when ours was a very different product. Once a year we charter one of the Windstar cruise ships and have on board the English Chamber... More

This was a quite complex tour arrangement as alluded to by the reviewer. The excursion covered three major cities in Turkey plus accommodations, transportation, and refreshments for both the musicians and the traveling audience. It was a challenge but the principals of the whole excursion effort were pros in their own right and made it easier to accomplish a smooth... More

I don't usually recommend companies-- just places, but the outstanding service of your company deserves a couple of my kudos. I had traveled to Turkey before a couple of different ways --backpacking and pensiones as a younger man, on ship cruise organized big tours, and the wife and I with a guide book. Maybe it's my age or want of... More

Greetings and thank you for the kudos for the, as you say, 'outstanding service of our company". We're very happy that servicing an experienced traveler like yourself proved worthy of a note of praise. It's always a pleasure for us to service and assist cruise clients with their shore excursions in multiple ports. So helping you in the four ports... More

If you are on a cruise and planning some excursions in Turkey / Greece it would be well worth while looking up Archaeologous.com. When planning our cruise I was a little taken aback at the price of some of the shore excursions offered by the cruise line and so made some inquiries of local companies in various places. One that... More

On our Mediterranean cruise we were going to the ports of Kusadasi and Istanbul in Turkey and found Archaeologous Private Tours when we searched for "Top Private Tours in Kusadasi". Our private group of 10 were extremely happy with our choice of archaeologous.com. Everything that you advertised and that we had read in Trip Advisor reviews was exactly what we... More

So good of you to take your time to review us here at Archaeologous. It always seems like a report card of sorts for us to see the Trip Advisor reviews. We get many personal emails complimenting our services however many people aren't Trip Advisor members, so the general public can't read about us. Turkey is amazing and we are... More

I normally don't take the time to write reviews of anything, but our private cruise shore excursion with your company, archaeologous.com was really worth a public acknowledgement. Our personal guide in Kusadasi was not only licensed, in addition he was an archaeologist and architect so the extra treasure of his knowledge was amazing and appreciated by our private group as... Thanks for telling us that even from "5 yr old's emergency potty stops to almost heat stroke by on of the women" on your tour, that all was handled in an excellent way. Our guides have many - many - many years of experience, so there is not much new that comes up that they haven't handled before. Yes, a... More

I've been on a few private tours at various places around the world (New Orleans, Bahamas, Mexico, Chile), but the trip to Ephesus and Kusadasi was easily the best. First, the website was very user-friendly and made it easy to book the tour most intriguing to me. And once there the tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, and answered... More

Archaeologous made looking back on my whole Mediterranean cruise stand out as the most memorable. Thanks so much for your kind review. In all modesty we verbally hear the comment that the tour with us was the best on our clients' (usually) cruise...however to have it in writing is truly wonderful.
