After walking down a lot of stairs you reach the beach. Some years it's a pebble beach, others it's a sandy beach, It depends on the winter storms. What does not change however is the stunning turquoise water. 2 1/2 - 3mt from the shore the bottom drops steeply. Also there is a current from the left hand side, so... More

This beach is situated between Kalkan & Kas on the coastal road linking the two resorts. It is only about 5 km out of Kalkan, so I am surprised it is listed as a Kas attraction, as it must be another 20 km to Kas? This beach is very famous with many pictures on the Internet, as the sea is... More

A lovely beach but it is literally right off the main road so you can see/hear the cars and lorries at all times. The pebbles can hurt a little bit so I recommend wearing shoes until in the sea. There are no facilities here at all so do bring lunch! Also be careful if you are on a dolmus to... More

I had a chance to see the beach when I was on a tour and we stopped for a swim. I find this beach relaxing but spend very short time. There are a number of staris you need to climd down to reach the beach but once you are there I think it is worth it. More

Stopping at the side of the road you look down and there it is like a jewel. Picture perfect. The beach down a long flight of steps (no facility for wheelchairs) and has got the most tiny pebbles on I have ever seen, they don't hurt your feet as walk. But take a shade with you and drinks. There are... More

You have to climb down an incredibly long and steep set of stairs and down there it's all pebbles wich are difficult to tread on. There's also a road running along the top which is never shown on any pictures. If you are in the area go to PATARA beach, that's 16 km of white sandy beach with only one... More

We had read about this beach and wanted to check it out. It was amazing. We enjoy a full day there just relaxing away from the crowds. There were occasional waves of people from tours that would stop by take a swim and leave but otherwise we had a wonderful time. The water temperature was not too cold. The water... More
