Go there and pay a small boat to tour you around for two hours. Cost us 35 lira each for this and we got the same basic experience as the big tours - minus the lunch.

The best thing about Kekova is the underwater ruins. There are small yachts for hire in the town, and the price can be negotiated according to the number of hours and swimming stops, to include lunch or not, etc. If you want an English-speaking guide, though, it might be better to go through one of the tour agencies located in... Which was the best? - swimming in the warm water, looking at the sunken city, watching 2 large sea turtles swim by, looking in the blue cave, walking among the rocks on Kekova Island, eating ice-cream on top of our boat, sipping Turkish coffee as we cruised around, climbing to SImena Castle? I can't decide so it all must have... More

You can hike or take a boat. Beautiful. There are places to eat. Just a relaxed getaway for a day or half day.

You really feel that you are getting close to history when you see the sunken city. Also, the castle with its battlements gives an unparalleled view of the whole area-well worth it!.

Visiting Kekova sunken city with Captain Hassan out of Ucagiz was a real treat. The water was a deep blue and the sunken ruins were visible through the clear waters of the sound and through the glass bottom portion of the boat. Captain Hassan was amazing and very accommodating to our wishes. We went in mid September and had the... More

We signed up to go on a boat trip to see the sunken city and arrived at the dock to dins that we were the only passengers that day. Instead of cancelling, the captain took us out for an amazing ride and exploration. Ask for the boat, Nergiz 4, and captain Durali. His wife is both deckhand and chef and... More

really enjoyed the sea kayaking, but the sunken city was over rated and a waste of time, couldn't really call it a city, a handful of ruins barely visible
