Our second visit to Kalkan, our first being in October 2012 where we spent 4 days diving with The Kalkan Cive Centre We corresponded with Altan who runs the dive centre before this holiday & he answered quickly & with all the information we requested. This time we had 5 days diving & although the fish life is a bit... More

My son and I booked the Open Water Course from the UK, Altan replied to all queries promptly and made us feel welcome. I expected some classroom stuff straight away but no, we were straight in to the sea to be shown how to dive. Altan was a patient but thorough teacher, we couldn't dive for 2 days due to... More

Booked a one-day dive with Kalkan Dive Centre to finish off a week's diving holiday. We dived with Natura Blue in Kas earlier in the week but as this centre was on the doorstep for us in Kalkan, we thought we'd give it a go. Booking the day seemed to be an inconvenience to the member of staff on duty... More

Having never dived before (or since) it is a little hard to compare Kalkan Dive Centre to anything else however I am pretty sure there won't be many better out there. We took our PADI Open Water Course while on a two week holiday there this year. We were very lucky to have Mark Taylor as our instructor. Mark's patience... More

Enjoyed my 8 dives with this Centre. Main advantages are: the small boat and hence smaller groups (some of the boats that go from Kalkan harbour and nearby Kas are huge) Nice interesting team of people with a family feel. Friendly and efficient A brilliant location for completing PADI courses with a nice sheltered little bay right in front of... More

From the moment we contacted the centre from the UK, we knew we were in good hands. Our instructor for our PADI Open Water Diver Certification, Mark Taylor, was just brilliant: patient, excellent teaching skills, extensive knowledge, and a thoroughly lovely man. And the prices are far lower than anywhere in the UK. I know where we preferred to learn,... More

It was fantastic to be able to book 2 boat dives whilst on holiday in Kalkan. Although the marine life isn't amazing, the dive sites were interesting and really good fun. All the instructors and staff were extremely helpful and incredibly professional. I would recommend anyone who is keen to get into the water this dive company who were extremely... More

We visited on a family holiday in June 2014. Between us, we did over 30 dives, with my daughter completed her ADV course. The operation is well run, the gear is new and the diving runs to time, allowing diving in the morning, and family time in the afternoon. Mark the instructor was geat in building my daughter's confidence in... More

This is an excellent dive centre with a mix of Turkish and English staff who were more than helpful. We had all our own equipment so didn't need to hire but the hire equipment looked of a good standard. We have dived in many places and to be perfectly honest Kalkan can not stand up to the other places we... More

My wife and I did a PADO open water - whilst the two boys did the advanced course. We all had great experiences. Altan runs the centre - and is calm, charming and professional. the centre is very well staffed so there are always helpers on hand to assist the less experienced folk such as myself. it is a PADI...
