It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below. « less

The harbour is situated at the bottom of a high cliff with a steep hill down to it. The original old town is mainly in this area and unspoilt, anything that has to be rebuilt has to be built back to the original, thus preserving history as in most of Antalya. There is a good view of the old buildings... More

This is probably the only part of Antalya that doesn't feel like a modern resort city. I visited it to take a cruise of the shoreline; there are a ton of boats that will take you out on a roughly hour long cruise. If you want to take such a cruise, make sure you go in the morning - the... More

Great views and atmosphere. Wish we had had longer to appreciate it. Nice little bars and restaurants too.

We were able to find a nice restaurant just above the harbour and observe the busy flow underneath. There was also a wedding procession and we check it out as well. The drinks were nice and cool, the waiter helpful but not pushy.

Enjoyed the harbour area lots to see & do, but the shop keepers are a pain as they hastle you to buy all the time, the loo on the harbour requires 1 TL & will not except euro. It's great place to have a coffee or something stronger to while away some time people watching.

A lovely place to go on an afternoon, go get lost in the narrow old streets that lead down to the marina, passing the little shops selling allsorts and taking in the atmosphere. Once you get to the marina, there are plenty of boat trips to be hounded into or just stroll to the very end for a beautiful view.

See the city from a distance, enjoy loud Turkish pop music. Bargain for the price. Before or after the boat trip, have tea in one of the little cafes.
