It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below. « less

The harbour is beautiful, It was the second day of our holiday when a lovely local Turkish man lead us to the harbour and took us up through this temple so we could get the most amazing view of it, we then went down to where all the boats are and went on a boat trip to see the big... More

The walk around the harbour is delightful. They even have folk sleeping on bean bags - those who don't make it home after a great night out in the area. Stunning views from the top of the hill before descending to the harbour area, especially in the evenings.

While you are visiting Hadrian's Gate don't miss the harbour with the ancient walls facing the sea. Great for pictures, we also discovered a very nice beach near the harbour.

We wandered down to Antalya harbour district on our first day in Antalya. It is really pretty, with outside restaurants and 'pirate ships' lined up ready to be crammed with tourists! There is a glass lift to take you back up to the top as well, which was a relief.

I really enjoyed my time exploring the marina in old town, its busy with fishermen and boats. The lighting is beautiful and highly recommended if you are in Antalya.

I loved the older part of Antalya and if I visited again I would be happy to stay in the old town area.

it was not too crowded and there are lovely restaurants where you can watch the fishing boats and pleasure boats coming in and out. Very pleasant.

Nice walk down to the port. Invasive merchant. Too many cats. Don't; walk up, take the elevator! Don't take the boat trip, just photograph them...

I may be wrong about this place but the time of day when we visited here it was a very hot time and we could not even stand here due to the heat. The only good thing was that we saw a bride and a groom here. The boats-men continuously kept convincing us to take a cruise which we never... More
