Owner description: Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps. Bring sturdy shoes so as not to slip. It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below.

What better way to spend the day then strolling through the harbour, having a bite to eat or a couple of drinks and selecting one of the many many boats which are available to you. Negotiate a price with the captain and you can go for a lovely tour around, see all the locals fishing off random rocks (god knows... More

The harbour itself is pleasant enough, with a mix of old world charm, and some more modern development! However the constant harassment by the boat trip salesmen is a constant drain, and certainly took any joy out of wandering the harbour. In fact I was glad to leave, or at least exit the area covered by these salesmen! A real... More

Went to see the harbour today. Absolutly loved it. Breath taking scenery. Water colour was turquoise and emerald. Beautiful achitecture. Lovely place to stroll and have fresh juice or coffee. It was spectacular looking at all the boats. I would love to return here in future. Photos dont even do this area justice as its like a piece of heaven!!!... More

And I mean walk quickly to avoid the aggressive sellers of Chinese-made knockoffs. I'm not a huge fan of the shopping that you're sorta forced to walk through on your way down to the harbor. Or the harbor captains that harangue you about taking a boat tour. But the nature itself is beautiful. The architecture lovely. And the park at... More

If you happen to arrive in Antalya in the evening, forget the modern shops at the top of the cliffs. Leg it down the steps to the harbour (or catch the modern glass lift down the cliff from the striking observation platform) and trot through the old town to watch the sun set over the bay. Ignore (if you can)... More

Geared for the tourists unfortunately. Vulgar pirate style boats for day trips. Loads of touts trying to sell the tickets. Hustle and bustle. Lots of steps or a steep incline leading from the Bazaar. Not impressed and would not return. I was there in the winter. Must be hell in the summer!

This was a delight to see from the top of the hill. And even more fun to walk along the quay and see the boats. after a full tour of the area take the elevator back up to the top and sit in the shade and have a tea. Can't beat the view!
