Description: Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps...
Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps. Bring sturdy shoes so as not to slip. It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below.

We went through the markets in the old town Antalyia and down to the Marina. There are boats taking people out around the bay. It was a beautiful day and a very pleasant experience.

We only had a short time here but it was lovely. Not too busy but a few boat trips and lots of cafes and restaurants overlooking the harbour. The walk down can be steep with lots of steps but there is a convenient lift from the top terrace.

A must see , beautiful harbour, lots of shops and things to buy but always haggle. Take in your surrounding as its a maze of identical streets.

Enjoyed the area, but everyone is competing for your tourist dollar. Be polite and just say "no thank you."

If you are in Antalya, you cannot fail to visit the marina and the old town. Start at the large square with the statue to Ataturk and walk towards the glass lift to the marina but turn to the left before you get that far and go down the steps by the side of the old town wall. After the... More

How much more can be written about the wonderful place? It is all and more what many reviewers have written. A "must see" when in Antalya. Sure, there are tourist traps there as well, where are they not? And when one young couple writes that they did not feel "safe" there at night, I can only say, it is probably... More

We had a boat trip around the harbour on a sunny evening in the shadow of the mountains its beautiful. We also fished here and caught some little fish! Try Yelken restaurant we had a fish dinner big seabass for four with four large prawns for starters, drinks chips and salad for 325 Turkish lira. Yummy!!
