Recommend that you get up to the top of the dam for the views. Walk back to the outskirts of the city & down river to the main coast road. Take the bus back to the city. Regular bus services. Visit one of the 'Piknik" areas for a beer. Go early to get more shade.

We hired a moped at 25 Euros and drove ourselves up to the river which was an easy drive. We went up and down the other side of the mountain on our 50cc moped and it managed it all (which was a relief!). We stopped at one of the floating restaurants to have lunch and chose well - it was... More

Dim Cay is really amazing and there are several restaurants and picnics along the river. The water comes from the Taurus mountains and the water is cleanest at the top. The water is really cold and it isn't entirely sure that you want to swim when you come here. I like to come here just to relax, eat dinner in... More

There are several nice places to eat sitting in the river. Look for many people to get the best of them ;-)

Great food, great surrounding - Dim Cay is a beautiful loved by locals and tourists alike. The floating restaurants are set against the spectacular backdrop of the Dim Cay gorge. The water is always cool and its a great place to unwind.

Its so unique with the floating beds on the river, you can chill, eat, drink and swim and just have a great time. Just be warned that the water is sooooo cold!

Fantastic place. During the very hot summer month we have experienced nice and cool weather up at Dimcay. Many poplular restaurants along the river, one of the very best ones; Pinarbashi - next to the Dim Dam. While temperatures at Alanya beaches ab. 30 + C at sea, here you may take a bath in very clean freshwater at +20... More

I loved what they did with the river. It is a cold mountain river and all along the stream are amazing restaurants. You can swim if you're not cold (the water temperature is around 15dg celsius), you can fish and everything you catch they can prepare for you. There are also Turkish specialties on the menu as well as general... More

Don´t miss to visit the Cave. A long walk down but very worth while. Outside the Cave is very nice view to Watch.
