You feel like you are on top of alanya. Apart from the view there is not so much to do. There are no guides and you just wander around looking at old collapsing walls

You can get a bus to the top for 1TL. Great views of Alanya from the castle. castle itself is good to explore. On the walk back down to Alanya there a few terraced restaurants for stop and have a snack that offer great views.

We went on a slightly cloudy day but it was still hot and great views back towards Alanya Kleopatra beach & East beach. Suggest catch the bus their, 2TL each from main bus station, note one bus every hour ie 11, 12, 1pm, 2 etc. We started walking back but decided it was a long way and got a taxi... More

What a fantastic castle, looks over the whole of alanya and at night is beautifully lit up. So much history here, well worth a visit and to take in the views around.

Went to see this place on Friday, it was amazing. The scenery, the old ruins were beautiful. You have a panoramic view of Alanya from the castle/fort area, the views are breathtaking. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place.

If you arrive at the port and want to see the castle,I wouldn't try walking. It is very long and steep (about 1 & half hours !). Taxis we saw charged one price to get to the castle so try to fill it with 6 people and share the cost. The views from the top are amazing. The drivers will drop you off... More

We go there by feet- it's tiring, but views definately worth it. We find beatiful little mosque somewhere on the hill.

This was a great experience. We went by bus to the castle and all I can tell you is fabulously. The remains of the Ottoman Empire, mosques and generally the history of Turkey. The breathtaking view that stretches across the whole of Alanya and only then acquires the real impression of the size of this maritime city, and of course... More

Ticket office will charge 15TL to enter but this is access to only a small fraction of the castle. You can see as much from outside. Stay close to the top for a great sun set.
