Book before you go - it gets very busy. Staff could improve their inter-personal skills but the course is great.
2 courses, Olives & Foret, the Olive the easier much more open, with the Foret much tighter and the capability to lose a few balls. The greens were ok, would rate 7/10, but the rest of the course condition 4/10, with a lack of grass in many areas. The greens were quite tricky. I found the caddies really good, and... More
The Foret course is a real challenge and perfect for low handicappers. Unfortunately in the height of the season they had chosen to hollow tine and sand the greens which made putting a real lottery - a great shame. The Olivers course is good too, flat and slightly boring front nine, mountain goat back nine - I enjoyed it.
We played here three times last week (w/e 12th Jan 2014) The Foret was the better of the two courses but both had some interesting holes, the Olivios course had been top dressed so the greens were not 100% but for a couple of rounds on holiday the courses were ok, not the best value but the staff at the... We played both courses (La Forêt / Les Oliviers) at the beginning of December. Both courses were in good shape and almost empty. We preferred the La Forêt as it is more demanding and interesting; Les Oliviers is easier and more flat. The service throughout the site is perfect - starting with reception, locker rooms, trollies and so on. And... More
Whilst on a last minute break with my wife if the opportunity arose I took my golf shoes, a glove some tees and 1/2 a dozen balls just in case the opportunity arose. Staying at the Azizza I was able to book the golf, free transfer and hire clubs. All very efficient and reasonably priced. I was teamed up and... More
We were there beginning of October and the course was empty so the golf was excelent and also greens were perfect. I would like to go back soon. Also the manager Abdelkader is a perfect standup man !!
The course is good...maybe over watered as there were a lot of plugged balls on and off the fairway. I play off a 1 handicap and found the hire clubs were very poor so would recommend upgrading their stock to cater for lower handicaps. ( Stiffer shafts and lower degree drivers)
We played on the Olivier course the first couple of times and on La Foret on our last day. Lovely golf courses, with superb fairways and lovely views. The Olivier course was not too difficult, but the Foret course was quite a challenge. On our last day, on the 18th hole of La Foret, I lost my ball in the... More
Glad I made effort to visit Citrus and liked it so much I went back and played the next day, good condition and variety of holes on offer to test all handicap abilities. A week's golfing holiday in a golf resort hotel to take advantage of discount on offer makes it more affordable too.
