Very dated shopping centre. The usual tourist knick-knacks. Constant pestering by shopkeepers - I'd be much more inclined to buy if they didn't do that! Bought some cheap saffron. The center commercial is fine for whiling away a couple of hours if weather is inclement.

A very dated shopping area, with nothing really worth buying. The shop owners are constantly pestering for business (as is expected in this part of the world). I wouldn't recommend a visit here unless you want some tacky souvenirs or face designer clothing.

Some shops. Nothing special. A place to visit to buy tourist gifts for family and friends. Worth a wonder for a couple of hours. You will be hassled. Just smile and politely refuse. There are some decent Spas at good prices. My wife had her hair cut and colored. Cost about £50 which she said would have cost at least... More

Not a lot of shops here but passes time if weather inclement. Not too much pestering either, a polite no should suffice

As soon as you walk in to the center commercial they start to haggle you and wont leave you alone. They are polite don't get me wrong but they will lose a lot of custom if they push you away by trying to force you to buy stuff ( what isn't even real).

I know it sounds strange but I am not sure where this begins and ends. Hammamet seems to just follow the coast with various bits and pieces on the way. Either that or we missed it....

Was approached by man who claimed he was our waiter at dinner at hotel el mouradi el menzah we had no reason to disbelieve him as he stood and chatted for about half an hour but when he asked us to have a look in his sisters shop we were greeted by four men and they were very persistant and... Nothing to do/see very few shops, some hassle, no point in visiting, about a 10 main walk from hotel and next to the marina

we have been travelling to Hammamet for 20 years, this time we went to visit centre commercial to find almost all shops have closed, and a derelict feeling to the place.

We stumbled upon this commercial centre by accident. I saw a huge sign advertising an art exhibition from local Tunisian artist Fenina and the gallery is located within this centre. There's a 'salon de thé' which looked appealing for tea or beverages but other than that nothing special.
