a lovely mosque with the insights of the muslim life and cultures, how us western people do not always understand the muslim ways and their beliefs

Very nice and the oldes mosgue in Hammamet near the cemetery in the Hammamet Alsso near old city many shops

The mosque was architecturally beautiful, the man at the start gave us clothes to cover up (anything above the knees on both men and women) and also a head scarf. Expected a tip after though

When we were there The Great Mosque was open , but was under some painting renovation so there was not much to see. In other places we have visited the Mosques were betetr and well maintained.

We hired our own driver so was easier to go with 2 children. I do recommend as we had a walk around the village aswell

We took in this Mosque as part of a 2 day Safari, We were not allowed inside and to be fair its pretty boring.

the great Mosque, the Mosque with the three doors. Visit for women requires headscarf ! Very good guided tours and interesting historical information available.

Impressive building from the outside - but that's all we were able to see as it was closed to the public at the time of our visit.

The Mosque looks pretty impressive in size and architecture from the outside but the fact that you can only observe it's interior from a roof of a nearby souvenir shop kinda brings the whole experience down a notch.
