If you are in Tunisia this is one of the places you must visit! I wasn't in Djerba, but i traveled hundreds of kilometers to visit the park and i don't regret at all. I spent some really good hours there and enjoyed the feeding time. Here is a video from my experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjntf818hrE

I was lucky to be here at feeding time it was amazing! The crocs know feeding times and they head to the feeding points the noise they make when catching the food is out of this world. They have crocs of all ages. I enjoyed this place.

We went to the crocodile farm just in time for the feeding (5pm) and we found it fascinating. With 400 crocodiles there, from infant to full grown, it was brilliant. T has pound of them biting through bone is a sound I would think forget anytime soon. It would get 5 stars but, like everything in djerba, it doesn't really... More

A short cheap taxi ride to this crocodile park . A couple of hours is all that's needed . Where you first see the museum then the village with there traditional working life and the talented camel which smiles for the camera . The last bit is amazing with all the crocodiles do not visit till feeding time which is... More

We visited on the last day of our Trip as we heard about it last min but I am glad we managed to fit it in. The crocodile are fascinating, unfortunately we missed feeding time but another couple who stayed in our hotel said that it was amazing to watch.

The craft village was very interesting with live demonstrations of pottery making and weaving in a rural setting.

A short taxi ride from our hotel (Petit Palais) costing just 3DT and then 15DT each to get in meant we saved on the cost as hotel excursions were a lot more expensive for the same thing!

The museum at Djerba Explore had many impressive pieces that I did not expect to see. One down side is that the descriptions are only in French and Arabic, but the pieces from North Africa, Turkey, Iran, and beyond, more than make up for it. They also have an extensive textile exhibit.

We visited for the crocodiles. We knew our son would like to see them and we weren't disappointed. But there is so much more to the site than the crocodiles. The Lalla Hadria museum was a very pleasant surprise. Its amazing collection of local and regional artefacts were very well presented. Fascinating, though I'd agree with the comments elsewhere about... More

Great break from sitting in the sun, although much more cost effective to get a taxi there yourselves than to go as an excursion with the hotel as the djerba museum is on the same sight and included in your entrance fee. Don't be fooled by people calling it a crocodile farm, it is very professional with concrete bridges and... More
