Typically we take 2 tours while here for the holiday weekend. Our first cruise, the 2 nation tour combined with both castles, went really well. The second is usually the dinner cruise with the fireworks which we thoroughly enjoy, however, this year they decided not to have the dinner cruise combined with the fireworks and had the craft beer and... We took the Singer Castle cruise. While on way to the castle the guide talks about many points interest along the St Lawrence and give you some local history. While at Singer Castle you go on a guided tour of the castle and it's grounds. After this you go back up river to Boult Castle where you can get off... More

Took the Uncle Sam's Two Nations tour from Alex Bay on a beautiful day. We enjoyed the information and sights on the American side, especially since they pertained to moguls in American business and history. We tended to breeze by them, however, and the color commentary was hard to hear above the motor. Most of the tour was on the... More

My family had a camp in Alexandria Bay when I was growing up so I was very familiar with the islands. My daughter had never been, so on a recent visit upstate I decided to take her. Uncle Sam's was a great way to show her the sites in a short amount of time. Fun and informative it's perfect if... More

The tour had so much info on the history of the Thousand Islands and the houses built there. We were able to stop at Bolt Castle. It was nice to see the area and cottages along the river.

We used Uncle Sam Boat tours to transport us back and forth to Boldt Castle. The crew was courteous, helpful and mindful of safety. You will not be disappointed with the service Uncle Sam's provides to the public. Our boat was a smaller vessel but they have bigger boats for large groups as well. Recommend for young and old alike.

To start off, it was a rainy day. Drizzled every now and then. We took the 1 hour boat tour as we were heading to Ottawa right after and couldn't do the 2.5 hrs tour as we hoped to. Friendly ticket agent, although not very great at suggestions. Just wanted us to get tickets and get out of the way.... More

We enjoyed the entire trip. The scenery was wonderful Joshua told the story of all the places he knew along the way. Everyone was friendly and we met some very nice people whom we saw the next day at the outlet mal in Waterloo.

Uncle Sams boat tour was very enjoyable. The tour guide was a very knowledgeable young lady from the area. She was funny and friendly. The ride took you by some beautiful mansions and islands, under the bridge to Canada, in Canada and to Heart Island. Food was available for purchase. Was over 2 hours and the time flew by. Was... This was a 2 hour paddle boat ride around the islands with a lot of fun facts given by tour guide as we passed the all the homes on millionaire's row. You then have optional stop at Boldt castle where you can spend as much time as you like exploring the property and castle. Would recommend minimum of 1 hour,... More
