I really enjoyed the boat tour, it did feel like it was the only way to see the islands. We did the Two Nation Tour; if you are stuck for time, you might want to call to verify the schedule, as the website had different information than what actually happened. The architecture of the houses on the islands were varied... More

We had previously taken a boat tour (from another provider) in 2013 of the Thousand Islands, as such we really didn`t feel like dropping CA$ 32 - 45 for a boat tour from Rockport or Gananoque that would lake us around the same islands then only give us 1.5 hrs to explore Boldt Castle. So we drove to the quaint... More

Took this tour and enjoyed hearing the history of some of the islands and their owners. They had a hard covered book that retailed for $16 they were offering for $10 - wish I'd have bought it as I'd have enjoyed sharing this with others. Stood outside and sat inside, depending on where you were outside it was difficult to... More

My friend and I thought a luncheon cruise over to the many islands and Boldt Castle would be really nice and comfortable for the 2-1/4 hours but most people on the boat hadn't ordered lunch. We were relegated to an uncomfortable plastic table with sandwiches from Riley's that were not very good. We paid $34 for the luncheon cruise when... More

After researching the many ways of touring the 1000 Islands we chose the Uncle Sam Boat Tours. We decided to do the combination ticket, which gives you a discount when taking two of the tours. Each tour can be taken on separate days which really made it easier on us. I think one tour a day is plenty, there is... More

We really enjoyed our 1 1/2 hour boat tour of the Millionaires portion of the 1000 Islands. We had an excellent guide who is a professor during the school year. He was full of history and trivia. The boat was nice and left right on time. This is a good tour for all ages.

Uncle Sam's Boat Tours is a great way to see the St. Lawrence. The castles are wonderful if you like history and architecture.

-This was a wonderful experience with my 16 year old grandson from North Carolina. Coming from New York we take the 1000 Inslands for granted but he was amazed by the tour and the information he learned. Most of his family orginated in New York and he has an interest in fishing the Great Lakes. The information was fun and the... More

The best way to see the inhabited fraction of these 1800+ islands is from the American side. Access to the Boldt castle is easier as well. That pretty much means a stop at Alexandria Bay and Uncle Sam boat tours. We took a shuttle to the castle and then a sunset cruise around the millionaire row. The boat was nice... More
