pack a lunch, drinks and your camera, then take the ferry across to the Castle. The grounds are lovely, the castle nice to explore. This is a great way to spend the day. We took two 3 yr olds and 2 2 yr olds and had so much fun!

This is worth your time in NNY... you will go back in time and hear the history of boldt castle amazing and sad. The rooms are beautiful. It is hard to imagine living in that era, building this magnificent castle minus the tools we have today. You will enjoy the boat tour and seeing how the other half lives.

This is WELL worth the time and trip! The work that has occurred after 75 years of abandondment is REMARKABLE. You can see work in progress which is interesting also. MAKE SURE TO BUY THE COMBO TICKET WHICH INCLUDES THE BOATHOUSE!!

Absolutely exquisite! Do not miss the chance to visit, after visiting Boldt Castle! In my opinion, it's worth the added charge as I adore the architecture! The vintage boats on display are lovely, and perfect if time is an issue. We planned to visit the antique boat museum a half hour away, but didn't want to rush the day.

Side trip to the castle. Well worth it. Takes 5 minutes to get there by pontoon from the castle. Lots of boats. Very interesting.

The captain's quarters are gorgeous and presumed to be very comfortable. The boats on display are the finest of the era.

The restored Yacht House along with the fleet of Boldt yachts is definitely worth visiting. You can take a water shuttle to the Yacht House which is located on Wellesley Island prior to or after a self-tour of the Boldt Castle and grounds located on Heart Island.

You don't have to love wooden boats to visit this Yacht House connected to the short history of Boldt Castle. Well restored wooden craft and the boat house quarters for the "manager"of the boat house are worth the extra $2.00 ticket price.
