I agree with another reviewer- How much can you say about a bridge? But, it is very scenic as you pass to and from both countries. Can't stop to take photos, but you can enjoy the islands from afar and the sunset if you go over at that time.

A long an narrow two-lane structure that rises high over the St. Lawrence River. Great views of the river and Thousand Islands but don't look if you are the driver. Can be scary during the first crossing, especially if surrounded by semis.
Write a review about my experience with a bridge, what can I say? It bridged the gap. I suppose if I had to say anything I would recommend that if you use this bridge on a regular basis you get their multi use pass. Instead of paying $2.50 per crossing you pay $30 and get 70 crossings in a 2...

I have read many reviews and agreed with a lot of it. The bridge is well maintained and you should take your time to take iin the sights (at least the passanger should). I use this bridge on many trips as I play golf in the Watertown area and live in Kingston. I would recommend, that if you cross the...

I've crossed it many times and taken a boat tour under it several times. A marvel of engineering. It looks light and airy, but it's been standing for many decades. Have someone else drive, so you can check out the views.
When Travelling over the bridge,, the views of the islands are phenominal. There is a Toll Charge to access the area. But worth the cost of the view
This is a great means of moving between Canada and the USA for shopping in border cities both sides...but it is just a bridge. There is a toll on either side to cross and customs. There is a pedestrian path but I wouldnt want to walk over this..still the view is pretty lovely from the top
Costs $2.50 each way. Bring your passport! A magnificent example of both engineering and international cooperation.NY state park on the middle (Wellesley) Island. 1000 Islands Parkway from Kingston to Ivy Lea (and beyond) is a calm, beautiful drive along the river any time of year.
Each time I cross the bridge, I enjoy the view! Bridge is safe and on my way to my homeland..the USA!
Expect long waits and bad attitudes. I have never had a good experience crossing this bridge. I will drive miles out of my way to cross elsewhere.
