Nice museum to visit on rainy day. Easy accessible. Go here only if there are not too many tourist busses in front of the building. Nice and edjucative place to spend a day with children.

First the bad news, they have a 2 tier pricing system, tourists pay 500% more than Thai's, but if you are a foreigner as they say with a Thai driving license then you get the same price as a Thai. I so wish the British Embassy would charge Thai's 500% more for a visa then they do for other countries... More

200 bath per person ticket. Feels cheated by this private company museum. Nothing to see for expensive ticket. This is first and last visit thus cut throat attraction. During my visit, no other visitor dare to come, upper floor is selling sea shells and souvenirs and ground floor is for museum. Very dry and no attractions.

A spur of the moment stop led us to this small museum in Rawai. A great place to spend an hour or two on a rainy day! The museum is well laid out, although just as much space is devoted to selling as it is to showing! The museum itself is located in the basement level, with good lighting and... More

I have been to many "shell museums" and better souvenir shops calling themselves by that name, but this one deserves to be called a museum. Lovely, tastefully done, visitors begin to understand the fascination for seashells that drives a large community of enthusiasts worldwide. The museum shows a lot of true rarities that are not shown to the public anywhere... More

O.k. … I've got a confession … I have been here twice in a week but I didn't set foot into the museum. Maybe I will make it a point on my next visit. But my mission to source for various sea-shell items for doing up my home was accomplished by blitzing through its souvenir shop twice. Amazing variety on... More

While far from my typical pattern of unusual places in far-off places, it's a reminder that nature comes in all shapes, colors, and sizes. I'll buy their claim of 2,000 species, and there are plenty of examples. Still, you're paying to see something you could conceivably come across the ocean for free. The souvenir shop adds a star to what... More

My teenage daughter and I loved this museum. It was so nice to escape the touristy "attractions" of Phuket. The shells were amazing, and the displays were informative. We also found some nice souvenirs in the gift shops.

This was the first time we were in a seashell museum and we liked it. The exhibit is quite fascinating. Diplays hold numeorus unusual shells, snails and even lobsters in all the colors of the rainbow.
