Fantastic beach in front of a small island, nice view and fantastic atmosphere in the sunset time... The traditional boat, the local people very friendly make this place quiet and relaxing place....

Rawai beach is just located near Phuket town. It is a nice place with a long and large seaside. Apart some restaurants where you can eat fresh fishes, Rawai doesn't offer nothing but if you want relax, peace and quiet it is the right place on Phuket island (especially in the touristic seasons)

Great little spot. Catch a boat or 2 across to the islands. Enjoy some food on the tables right on the beach or enjoy some shopping.

Really enjoyed our day trips here and really easy to get to. Great restaurants (so many to chose from) and the beaches are great. Interesting sights there and back with lots of vantage points to stop at. Great part of Thailand.

Lovely pier to stroll along, plenty of restaurants, fish markets eastern end near pier well worth it ... Buy it fresh cross the road and have it cooked.

It is a base for the long boats to get out to the islands but not so good as a beach to visit and relax on the sand.

The fish market in rawai beach is an exceptional place for seafood lovers Local fishermen sell their super fresh fish, alive crabs lobsters and everything you can imagine and you can get it to the other side of the street and have it cooked! The restaurants don't look very fancy but their cooking is amazing. I guarantee it would be... More

We went here after the terrible lunch and got some ice cream and sat and relaxed, it was low tide and a lot of the boats were just sitting on the rocks and sand, which kind of looked cool. There is plenty to see all along the beach, and a lot of new health bars and food places to eat... More

Rawai beach and the area is the place to be. Peaceful and so unlike the rest of the island with its bustling tourism and hungry "in your face" sales touts and beggars. You won't find a tuk tuk, mobile street vendor or motorbike taxi here.. It's basically a detached part of the tourist packed island. As well as it is... More
