A nice little hideaway for a few hours. Not a lot here but a good place to see a part of Phuket that has not been exploited. Pretty beach and cheap eats...

The beach is reasonably clean but only really swimmable at high tide. Beach vendors are all "licensed" wearing blue tops with a number on the back.

it's a beautiful beach, however nothing compared to the cleanliness and feeling of Karon Beach and Kata Beach! if you are in Rawa i'll advise not to spend more the 3 days! try as well the fish market, delisciou and cheap! Have fun!

The beach is used mainly for the speed boats and long tails. It has a long walk of trees on the front so is covered in leaves and buds from the trees. Aside of this the sea looks clear and it takes a pretty picture. On an evening the locals sit around with campfires singing and socialising with their families.... More

Beach has a very traditional, rustic feel to it. We visited one of the restaurants along the beach road one evening, which was wonderful for 'people watching'...loads of locals use the road to commute to/from work. It was extremely busy while we were there. The beach had lots of fishing boats moored along it. It seemed to be a very... More

Cute atmosphere at the market. You can choose seafood you want cooked for your meal.. Not very pretty and the beach is only for fishing, swimming wouldn't be much fun there. I would advise a hotel at Naiharn if it's a beach you want. Lots of boat hire excursions possible although we didn't take them from there.

Lovely sea food! Buy it right there and let it prepare according to your taste in one of the many restaurants!

Rawai is a 'working beach' and a launching point for day boat excursions out to Phuket's surrounding islands. Many long-tail boats available for hire line its shores, where you can arrange a trip to Coral Island, Koh Lone or Racha Island, or a fishing or snorkelling trip. The beach is also used as a mooring point for the many fishermen... More
