Lots of interesting places

from cheap eats to higher class restaurants, may at the water's edge, the atmosphere in Rawai is fun and welcoming.

Amazing seafood in the little local village at the end of the beach coming from the direction of kata , pick your own fish and they will cook it for you close to perfection! For those on a really tight budget : skip the seafood and have a fried rice really cheap best quality and good portions .

As many reviewers already said, here the beach is small and not nice but this is a small fishers village and a starting point to rent a long tail or a speed boat to go on the near islands. You just have to ask (or to be stopped) a guy on the sidewalk and they can take you to the... More

Lovely beach not too crowded beautiful sand great swimming, loved it. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for daily hire, very cheap, food and drink, everything for a lovely relaxed day in the sun, sand and sea.

It was good to watch all the kite surfers which is next door to the Vijitt so on a windy day you can see 30 or more flying around. If you go on a tour don't go to Rasha Island, boring and a waste of time. A long tail boat is a great ride

Stone beach. Not much to say really. Nice to watch the tide come in and go out and all the fisherman and their family's heading out when tide is low looking for crabs and the likes. Beat to head to kata or patong.

It is a bit of a trek to get there but it is worth it. It is at the southern tip of phuket and you will probably need a car to get there. Beach is absolutely beautiful and not terribly busy.

Rawai Beach is not a swimming beach. But yet it has its charm. During the day and in the evening, the sea and beach is filled with many long-tailed boats and some larger ones. It is nice to sit at the open-air restaurants along the beach. Rawai Beach is also the gateway to many other smaller islands..

We came here to try some fresh sea food and were not disappointed. The beach is not good for swimming.
