I used to run along the beach for my boxing training every morning. It was great watching the sun rise here.

If you enjoy the atmosphere of Russian people looking for company then Rawai is what you are looking for. Large russian men parading in speedos, Vodka shots and pink lights bar are pretty much all you will see in Rawai beach. enjoy.

its not the best especially at low tide but you can get a boat ride to a local island or have a nice meal for under 150 baht at one of the local eateries

We didn't hit the beach as it seemed very small and mainly used for fishing boats. We went a little further up the road to Nai Harn and then returned here for the evening. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and bars for a drink at, without being overwhelmed.

we took a day trip here over to the local islands and ate twice at beach cafes...very good... people say no good at low tide, we found it interesting to walk out and look around. good food here and cheap... 300 baht for 4 thai meals with some rice.
