This place was another of Phuket's exploitative and cruel animal attractions. The monkey show and snake show were horrible and cruel to all animals, especially the snakes. They were thrown around, poked, struck and teased in an appalling manner in order for the to attempt to strike out at the handlers. These handlers dodging the strike is apparently entertaining! They... More

The elephant here is not a happy elephant and the trip was not nice. I look forward very much to this with my family. My mother was very upset when trainer hit the elephants. This is cruelty.

We booked a one hour ride through our hotel tour desk. Having previously been on a fantastic jungle ride on elephants in Central Thailand we were really looking forward to this. What a disappointment. The elephants are kept chained up in horrible conditions. The ride is a joke; our mahout could barely get the elephant to take two consecutive steps.... More

We had a lovely experience here. Contrary to other reviews, we found the elephants to be in good health. They were allowed to stop along the way to eat greenery. Guides were more than happy to take pictures of us and allowed my husband and son to ride on the elephant's back (after starting in the seat). The drive from... More

Was hoping that the elephants were going to be treated well but that wasn't the case. Find something else to do as this place will only upset you.

The elephants are all horribly mistreated. Ours was covered in blistering sores and when I asked the guide, he just shrugged his shoulders and said she's been getting them for a year now... Didn't seem concerned at all. They're chained in the sun in filthy conditions. We went elephant trekking before and those elephants were treated much better - this... More

My partner and I visited this camp 2 weeks ago.. The staff were friendly enough, although elephants were chained up in the sun.. looked miserable. We then went on an elephant ride.. the whole time we felt like we were going to fall off.. (we have both done elephant riding before and this was not a normal feeling).. we both... More

We had the elephant trek/monkey show as a free package from our hotel. We wish we hadn't bothered! The elephants are chained up until they are required for there trek, they have sores and cuts from the chains. The baby elephant is chained up on a foot, if that of chain and already looks stir crazy. The trek takes you... More

The staff treat you like rubbish, don't listen to your requests and are generally unhelpful - there are far better places to go trekking on the island - sea view maybe the cheapest but it's not worth your while. Avoid.

We had booked a driver/guide for our cruise port stopover in Feb 2014. Our driver failed to show up so we hired a driver and guide for the day from the multitudes that waiting in the port area. We told the driver we wanted to go to Kok Chang Safari. When our driver stopped at Sea View he said I... More
