Known as the most relaxing golf course in Phuket. Located in the centre of the island next to Red Mountain in Kathu District just 10 minutes from Phuket Town or Patong Beach the course nestles below a panoramic range of peaks, and is sandwiched between the Kathu Waterfalls and Kathu Village. The layout surrounds the largest lake on any golf course in Phuket, Crystal Lake, a massive 48 acres in size. This is an 18 hole, par 72, 6,555 yard, palm tree-lined beauty that has recently completed major re-designs and renovation upgrades.

Another perfect day of golf in Thailand

My second Thailand golf trip and this course was played on day 2. It's a challenging course and in beautiful condition. My caddy (Gate #277) was great, she knew the course and... read more

Loch Palm is definitely one of the best Golf Clubs in Thailand, beautiful layout, and very well maintained. Greens not too fast so the one or other longer par or birdie put may get in. Caddies can help well to read the putting lines. Fairways really well cut green grass (I had also different experiences in Thailand). Challenging yes, but... More

My second Thailand golf trip and this course was played on day 2. It's a challenging course and in beautiful condition. My caddy (Gate #277) was great, she knew the course and very quickly got to know my hitting distances. She was lots of fun and even told me off a few times when I didn't hit where I was... More

I was fortunate enough to play here a couple of weeks ago. The course is great, plenty of water although nowhere near as difficult as neighbouring red mountain. The caddy I had was the best one of the whole holiday. Had a great mornings golf. It's expensive as every golf course in Phuket is but it's cheaper than red mountain... More

I've played Loch Palm a few times over the years. The course offers a good variety of challenges and gives average golfers the ability to have fun and enjoy a well manicured course. Bring plenty of balls, as the water provides many chances of losing a few in the drink! You must hire a caddy as party of your fee,... More

Much more forgiving than RM and this was only my second round with new clubs. I was apprehensive to be partnered with a gent after such a horrid round the previous day. However having spent the morning watching Youtube golf tips I changed grip and started to strike a really sweet ball again. Be prepared to lose a few balls... More

After playing Red Mountain and Phuket Country Club, I was looking forward to playing Loch Palm as I had enjoyed playing the other two courses. Sadly I was disappointed and did not enjoy the overall experience. In my opinion the fairways were very ' patchy ' almost cut up in places and the greens were much the same and lightning... More

I am a solo traveller going round the world playing golf. Lock palms is a lovely golf course, not as hard as blue canyon, but is well looked after with a very pleasing layout. The greens are a bit mixed pace, walkable course, you must have a caddy on this reasonably flat course. Well worth a visit

Absolute treat to play here, more forgiving and thus providing an enjoyable day out for golfers of all handicap ranges. Well designed course, great caddies and pro shop service.

JAH Villa is a modern, and spacious villa. The one story, three building house with large pool is inside the entrance to the very upmarket Loch Palm and Red Mountain Golf Clubs, and is approximately mid-way between Patong Beach and The Central Festival complex outside of Phuket Town. The villa is very comfortable. It has a private and very secluded... More

This is actually a great course in superb condition. The holes are interesting with quite a bit of water and quite a few holes with elevation changes. It is scenic too. Yes, Red Mountain is "better" but it's als a very different type of course. I would actually rate this course nearly at par with Red Mountain, it's just that... More
